December 15, 2012
- Scorecard

India 256-4 (112 ovs) vs England 330

What a momumental effort from Dhoni and Kohli to lead India's spirited fightback on Day 3.

Rajneesh Gupta writes on Twitter: "Both Kohli and Dhoni have played longest innings of their Test career in terms of balls faced!"

Does anyone remember the famous Kolkata Test in 2001 when both Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman batted through the day against Australia to turn the match on it's head?

Laxman-Dravid batted for 104.1 overs in that match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

So far, Dhoni and Kohli have batted for 80.2 overs now, adding 185 runs for the fifth wicket to take the total to 256 for four in 112 overs.
