Rahul, Dhawan guide India to 70-0 at tea on Day 4
November 19, 2017

India 70-0 (17 ovs) & 172 vs SL 294 | Scorecard

Perera has a huge shout for caught at short leg against Dhawan but the umpire is unmoved and Chandimal decides to take the DRS.

It turns out to be a poor review as the ball is well away from the bat and struck the pads on the way to the close-in fielder. The TV umpire also checks for the LBW but the ball is slipping down the leg side.

The Indian openers easily collect five singles off Perera's second over to keep the runs coming.

Pacer Lakmal is back into the attack after spending some time in the dressing room and then having to make up for that time on the field.

Rahul picks an easy single to get off the strike in the final over of the session before Dhawan crunches another cover drive for a four.

At the tea break on Day 4, India have made a good start to reach 70 for no loss in 17 overs, cutting Sri Lanka's lead to 52 runs.
