KKR elect to bowl vs RCB; Punjab outclass Delhi

The toss has taken place at the Eden Gardens where new captain Dinesh Karthik has won the toss and elected to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RCB captain Virat Kohli, who had disclosed that he will bat at No. 3 this year, has chosen Quinton de Kock and Brendon McCullum to open the innings, while AB de Villiers and Chris Woakes are the other two overseas players.

For KKR, the four overseas players are Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and Mitchell Johnson.

In the first match of the day, Punjab outclassed Delhi by six wickets courtesy of half-centuries from KL Rahul and Karun Nair.
