India elect to bat; Rahane and Bhuvi back
January 24, 2018

India captain Virat Kohli has won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa in the third and final Test in Johannesburg.

As expected Ajinkya Rahane is making a comeback to the Indian team in place of Rohit Sharma, who failed in the first two Tests.

Interestingly, both teams are going into the match without a specialist spinner in their line-ups.

India will field an all-pace attack as fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is included in place of Ravichandran Ashwin.

So India are going in with five fast bowlers including Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar and the pace bowling all-rounder in Hardik Pandya.

South Africa have also gone on similar lines as pacer Andile Phehlukwayo replaces left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj.
