Parthiv Patel helps himself to a couple of boundaries in the over. The diminutive stumper helps himself to another boundary in the next over by Ashwin.
Shadab Jakati comes in to replace Southee in the eighth over and McCullum hoists him straight for his third maximum.

Morkel continues in the third and McCullum comes down the track to smash the first ball over long-on for a maximum.
The fourth ball finds the edge of his blade and runs down to the third man fence.
Mahela (16) gets a boundary wide of mid-on in the next over by Bollinger. R Ashwin replaces Morkel in the attack in the fifth over.
And its a dramatic opening over from the offie. Mahela hits the first ball to long on for a maximum and follows it up with a boundary towards fine leg.
However, the Kochi captain gets carried away and skies the third ball to Anirudha at short cover.

Brendon McCullum and Mahela Jayawardene come in to bat. Albie Morkel comes in to bowl for Chennai.
He seems to have hurt his left hamstring after bowling just one ball. He recovers though.
McCullum, having scored nothing off the first three balls, smashes the fourth straight above the bowler's head for a maximum.
Doug Bollinger comes in to bowl the second over and takes a tumble first ball, akin to Morkel. The Aussies concedes just three.

Ravindra Jadeja comes in to bowl the final over.
He concedes a run off his first three deliveries.
However, Morkel smashes the fourth ball straight over the bowler's head for a maximum. The South African takes a single off the next ball.
And Dhoni (14 not out) finishes the Chennai innings in style, hitting the last ball for a maximum over midwicket.
Chennai make 131 for four in their stipulated 17 overs.

And RP Singh comes in to bowl his last over, the 15th of the innings. Raina gets to his fifty with a single down to long off off the fourth ball.
Singh bowls a superb final over, conceding just two runs. He finishes with one for 24 off his four.
Raina (50) is run out by Perera in the next over. Albie Morkel comes in to replace him.

Ramesh Powar comes in to replace Gomez in the 12th over. He concedes eight runs in what was his third over.
Thisara Perera comes in to bowl the 13th over. Badri's shot hits the toe end of the bat and he is lucky to survive as the ball goes up but falls down in no man's land.
Perera concedes just six runs in what was his third over.
Gomez replacing Powar in the 14th. Mahela keeps changing his bowlers.
And he is rewarded when Gomeztraps Bradinath (19) leg before. It is 96 for three and an end to the 48-run stand for the third wicket.
MS Dhoni walks in to bat. But it is Raina who cuts loose hitting Gomez for the first maximum of the Chennai innings. The shot also helps the holders get past the 100-run mark.

Raiphi Gomez bowls his first over and Raina starts off with a boundary to fine leg. However, the bowler concedes just three more in the next five balls.
R Vinay Kumar is back into the attack in the 11th over.
Badri hits the third man to the third man boundary. A delicate shot that. The bowler responds with a short ball that follows the attacking batsman.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala won the toss and opted to bowl first against Chennai Super Kings on Monday.
"The conditions seem good to bowl and we will know what total we have to chase," reasoned captain Mahela Jayawardene.
His Chennai counterpart, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, concured.
"We would have bowled first as well," he admitted.
Kochi has retained the same eleven that beat Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede stadium on Friday.
