Thisara Perrera back in after the strategic time out as Perrera pitches one short to his Sri Lankan teammate Sangakkara, who pounces on it to smash it to midwicket boundary.

Sree back into the attack -- change of ends for Kerala star. White on strike as the Aussie is yet to get off the mark.

Good strategy from Mahela as Sreeanth moves the ball away from the right hander.

First ball is another peach of a delivery -- a good length, shapes away and left alone by White.

Couple of balls later, Sree almost has his man as White feels for another outswinger, perilously close to an outside edge.

Three balls later, Sree finishes the over with the first maiden off the match.

Deccan 20-3 after seven.

High drama in here as Sreesanth cleans up Kumar Sangakkara with a peach of delivery.

Umpire Kumar Dharmasena goes to the third umpire as replays show the bowler has stepped over the line.

Onus on Sangakkara and Bharat Chipli to revive Deccan innings now. Both RP Singh and Sreesanth seem to have found their lengths today.

But just as we speak, Sree bowls one short, and Sangakkara is more than happy to rock back and dispatch it to his first boundary.

Another extra, Sree gives away a wide... the no ball has put him off a bit.

Deccan 19 for two after five overs.
