21:56
Live Scorecard:

Ravi Rampaul's fourth wicket ensures West Indies a fighting 16-ball win over India in Motera.

Rampaul traps Abhimanyu Mithun (23) plumb in front.

However, victory for the visitors means the series is very much alive going into the fourth match in Indore.

India lead the five-match series 2-1.
21:42
Live Scorecard:

A brilliant run out by Darren Sammy sends Rohit Sharma (95) back to the pavilion.

The in-form batsman's 100-ball knock was inclusive of 10 hits to the fence and one over it.

India reduced to 216 for nine after 44 overs.
21:22
Live Scorecard:

The seventh wicket partnership is now worth more than 91 runs.

However, even as we speak Narine traps Ashwin (31) plumb in front.

India reduced to 196 for seven after 40 overs, needing 65 off the last 10.

Rohit Sharma is unbeaten on 86.
20:40
Live Scorecard:

Rohit Sharma is again playing a good role.

He has completed his third straight fifty in the series, his 11th overall.

He has got an able ally in Ashwin.

India has reached 141 for six after 30 overs.
20:07
Live Scorecard:

Jadeja (on two) had been given leg before off Rampaul, but the bowler had overstepped.

The batsman celebrates the reprieve with successive boundaries.

However, Jadeja's (11) luck runs out soon after as he is run out.

India 105 for six after 21 overs. In Rohit Sharma rests the home team's hopes now.
19:39
Live Scorecard:

A massive six over extra cover from Rohit Sharma (off Narine), his first scoring shot off the 12th ball he faces, helps raise the Indian half century, in the 11th over.

Rohit's second scoring shot is a boundary off Roach.

Marlon Samuels takes over from Narine (4-0-13-1) in the 13th over.

Parthiv and Rohit are scoring at almost a run-a-ball (36 off 40 balls). However, just when things looked settled for India, Samuels cleans up Parthiv (39).

Suresh Raina (2) comes and goes, caught behind giving Rampaul his third wicket.

India on the backfoot again at 84 for five after 16 overs.
19:09
Live Scorecard:

While Rampaul has got a double-wicket maiden, Roach is proving to be expensive early on.

Parthiv hits the first two balls of his second over to the fence. The diminutive batsman has hit the bowler for four boundaries in eight balls.

Now this is interesting. The highly-rated Sunil Narine is handed the ball in the fifth over, replacing Roach (2-0-18-0). He concedes five runs first up, including a boundary to Parthiv.

Kohli (20) puts himself at ease with successive boundaries off Rampaul's third over. However, he is given out leg before to Narine, giving the young bowler his first international wicket.

India 43 for three after nine overs.
18:42
Live Scorecard:

Virender Sehwag and Parthiv Patel open the batting for India and the latter hits successive boundaries in Roach's first over.

However, Ravi Rampaul makes a breakthrough with his first ball, having Sehwag caught behind. A first ball duck for the Indian captain.

The bowler traps Gautam Gambhir leg before off his second ball.

India eight for two after two overs.
18:22
Live Scorecard:

India has made things tougher.

Virender Sehwag will expect more application from his batsmen now.

Chasing 261 on this wicket is not a difficult task though.
17:51

A boundary by Sammy, off Vinay Kumar, helps West Indies reach the 200-run mark, in the 47th over.

Russell slams a maximum over wide long-on off Yadav to further destroy the latter's figures. It has been a poor day for the young fast bowler.

Mithun comes in to bowl the penultimate over and starts with a wide. Sammy smashes the next two balls to the fence and the fourth and fifth over it.

Mithun's seventh over costs India 23 runs while helping give the visitors' total a semblance of respectability.

Another 20 come off Yadav's final over as West Indies eventually post a formidable 260 for five.

Russell (40 not out) and Sammy (41 not out) put together 79 runs (off 34 balls) for the sixth wicket as West Indies notched up 93 runs in their final seven overs.

17:25
Live Scorecard:

Andre Russell has come out to bat and has started with a boundary off Yadav.

However, a specatcular catch by Ravindra Jadeja at deep extra cover ends Pollard's (29) brief stay at the crease, Vinay Kumar benefitting from the same.

Pollard's 32-ball 29 was inclusive of two boundaries and a six. Darren Sammy comes out to bat and starts with a boundary.

West Indies 187 for five after 45 overs.
17:17
Live Scorecard:

Pollard has benefitted from Gambhir's blemish. He smashes a six over midwicket off Raina and then hits a Yadav delivery to the fine leg fence.

He and Ramdin have so far put on a 55-run partnership, off just 61 balls, for the fifth wicket.

However, Yadav ens the stand having Ramdin (38) caught behind.

West Indies 177 for four after 44 overs.
16:58
Live Scorecard:

Meanwhile, Bravo has retired hurt having pulled up his left hamstring.

West Indies have again floundered in the batting powerplay. The visitors have managed just 19 runs in that five over period.

However, Pollard (on six) survives a blemish as Gambhir puts down a simple chance at midwicket off Jadeja.

They have made 145 for three after 39 overs.

16:41
Live Scorecard:

The batting powerplay is taken in the 34th over and Ashwin strikes fourth ball, cleaning up Samuels (58).

Kieron Pollard comes out to bat.

West Indies 123 for three after 34 overs.
16:26
Live Scorecard:

The 50-run partnership for the third wicket has come in quick time.

However, Bravo (26) has retired hurt even as the partnership was blossoming.

Denesh Ramdin comes out to bat. His first scoring shot, a boundary, off Raina, help West Indies cross the 100-run mark.

Samuels completes his 22nd ODI fifty with a single off Raina. It is his sixth fifty against India.

West Indies 110 for two after 30 overs.
16:08
Live Scorecard:

Darren Bravo has come out to bat at the fall of Hyatt. He opens up with a boundary past mid-off off Mithun.

Samuels, meanwhile, has settled down well. A six over long-on off Yadav followed by a boundary to square leg. Two balls later he hits past point for another boundary to ensure the 19th over is the best one for his team in this innings, 16 runs coming off it.

Ashwin comes into the attack in the 20th over and starts with a wide.

West Indies 87 for two after 23 overs.
15:31
Live Scorecard:

Abhimanyu Mithun is handed the ball in the eighth over, replacing Yadav (3-1-5-0).

His first over is an expensive one, with Samuels hitting successive boundaries. Mithun concedes 10 runs first up and with Windies batsmen managing seven off the next by Vinay Kumar (his fifth), this marks the most productive spell for the visitors in the initial overs.

Here's more. Hyatt smashes the third ball of Vinay Kumar's sixth over for a maximum over midwicket.

Mithun though breaks the 40-run second wicket stand, having Hyatt (20) caught behind.

West Indies 44 for two after 14 overs.
14:59
Live Scorecard:

With Adrian Barath not playing the game, Danza Hyatt opened along with Lendl Simmons.

However, now that Simmons has been dismissed early Marlon Samuels has come in to bat as early as the second over.

Hyatt hits a boundary past point off Yadav in the final ball of the fourth over. However, runs are coming in a trickle for the West Indies.

The visitors have made 10 for one after seven overs.
14:49
Live Scorecard:

Vinay Kumar has struck early for India accounting for Lendl Simmons (1).
14:21

India won the toss and invited West Indies to bat first in the third ODI in Motera on Monday.

"Dew is an important factor and we have a spinner who won't grip the ball if there is dew," reasoned Virender Sehwag. "We will try to seal the series here only," he added.

"Once again we have to come out and put up a good total," said Darren Sammy.

India has just one change to the line-up that won in Vizag, Abhimanyu Mithun coming in place of Varun Aaron.
14:00
