From Opta Sports (http://twitter.com/OptaJim) on Twitter: Praveen Kumar is playing his 50th ODI for India. He has 59 wickets and an economy rate of 5.03 runs per over.

And Praveen it is who opens the bowling for India. The first delivery gets West Indies and Lendl Simmons off the mark, as the right-hander tries to steal a quick single and gets an added bonus of two overthrows.

It is not looking good as far the conditions are concerned and it could rain any moment. Tony Cozier on commentary says its getting dark as the clouds start approaching towards the Queen's Park Oval.

Kirk Edwards off the mark with two runs through the covers, while Praveen ends the over with a beauty as Edwards is beaten all ends up by a perfectly pitched outswinger.

Welcome to Rediff.com's coverage of the second One-Day International between India and West Indies at Port of Spain, on Wednesday.

India captain Suresh Raina has won the toss and elected to field. The visitors, who won the first ODI by four wickets, have retained the same team.

Meanwhile, West Indies have made one change -- bringing in Kieron Pollard in place of Darren Bravo.

The track is expected to help the spinners and one is sure that the Indians will benefit more than the West Indies.
