Live scorecard

It is turning out to be quite easy for Bangalore. Kohli flicks Pankaj Singh through square leg for a four and a couple of balls later he pulls a short ball for a six through the same region to complete an easy victory.

Bangalore cruised to 151 for one to win by nine wickets with three overs to spare. Gayle finished unbeaten on a cracking 70 from 44 balls, having hit six fours and four sixes, while Kohli made a brisk 39 from 34 balls.

Bangalore have made it six victories in a row. Gayle has now scored 398 runs in six innings with two centuries and a fifty at an amazing average of 99.50 and his team has not lost a match since has joined them.

Warne's final game in Jaipur ends in disappointment but Dilshan will leave his team in good shape.

Bangalore have jumped to second place in the standings with 15 points from 11 matches. Rajasthan still have a chance to finish among the top four, with 11 points from 12 matches, but for that they need to win their remaining two matches and hope other results also go their way.

Warne comes on to bowl his final over. Kohli takes a single off the second ball, while Gayle plays out two dot balls before launching Warne over the covers for his third six.

He sweeps the final ball of that over for a four to spoil Warne's figures, who ends up with one for 26 in four overs.

After a good first over, Menaria is taken to the cleaners in his next. Kohli hits the third ball of that over for a four, while Gayle carts the final ball for his fourth six of the innings.

Bangalore reach 139-1 in 16 overs, needing just eight from the last four overs.

Part-timer Ross Taylor is introduced into the attack. But there is no stopping Gayle. The West Indies left-hander completes his half-century from just 33 balls in great style as he lofts Taylor down the ground for a six.

What a tournament it has turned out for Gayle. Rejected by all the franchises in the IPL auction and then dropped by the West Indies, the left-hander has come back with vengeance once Bangalore gave him the chance to perform.

Another part-timer from the end in the form of left-hander Ashok Menaria. The two batsmen have decided to play it safe against Menaria as they collect just three singles from that over.

Warne nearly picked up the wicket of Kohli in that over, but the fielder in the cover fails to hold on despite a valiant diving effort. Warne ends up giving just four runs in that over and he has now taken one for 15 in three overs.

Botha comes on to bowl his final over. He was hit for 35 runs in his first three overs and his nightmare continues.

Kohli lifts him over midwicket for a boundary to start Botha's final over. Seven runs from that over as Botha ends up with 42 runs from his four overs.

Live scorecard

Bangalore are in cruise mode now and both Gayle and Kohli stroll to four easy singles to take their team to 90 for one in 10 overs.

The visitors need 57 from the last ten overs. Unless Bangalore self destruct one can't help but say that the hosts are set for a huge defeat in Warne's last game in Jaipur.

Watson comes back for his second spell. Kohli and Gayle deal only in single before the left-hander slams it down the ground for a four.

Gayle edges Warne fine for a boundary through thirdman region, while four more singles from that over as Bangalore progress to 86 for one in nine overs.

They are in control of the run chase with 61 needed from the last 11 overs.

Warne comes on to bowl for the final time in Jaipur in front of his beloved home fans.

He ends Dilshan's quickfire knock after scoring 38 from 24 balls, with the help of eight fours, after the right-hander holes out to the deep midwicket fielder.

This was Dilshan's final innings for Bangalore in IPL 2011.

A wonderful start from Warne as he gives away just three runs in his first over, while taking the wicket of Dilshan.

Live scorecard

As if the flow of boundaries from both batsmen was not enough, Rajasthan gift Bangalore four runs from overthrows and Gayle is the beneficiary party.

The very next ball is sent high into the stands over long-off for a huge six by Gayle, the first of the innings.

Dilshan tries to repeat the shot but he doesn't get enough distance and it goes one bounce for a boundary.

16 runs from that over from Botha as Bangalore blast their way to 66 from six overs.

Live scorecard

Siddharth Trivedi is the third pacer into the attack to bowl the fifth over of the innings. The carnage continues as Dilshan helps him to another couple of boundaries in that over.

Trivedi errs with his length and drops it short outside the off-stump and Dilshan smacks him through covers twice for back to back fours.

Bangalore have smashed their way to 50 after just five overs and Dilshan has done majority of the scoring with 31 from 18 balls and Gayle on 17.

Live scorecard

For once, Dilshan seems to be outpacing Gayle. He sweeps Botha for a boundary through square leg to race to 23 from 12 balls with the help of five fours.

Gayle gets a reprieve in that over. He tries to loft Botha down the ground and Warne at mid-off failed to hold on as he balls went through his hands for a boundary down the ground.

Bangalore have raced to 42 after four overs.

Pankaj Singh comes into the attack. Gayle looking to attack the inexperienced bowler, gives himself room to try and blast it through the off-side but can only manage a single.

Gayle helps himself to another boundary as Pankaj drops it short and the left-hander pulls it through midwicket.

Dilshan completes the over with yet another four as he pulls a short ball through midwicket.

It is raining boundaries and Rajasthan can only hope and pray now for a few wickets.

Live scorecard

Dilshan, playing his final game for Bangalore in this year's IPL, started off in blazing fashion with two boundaries from the opening over from Watson.

He got off the mark by crashing a full delivery through the covers and ended the first in the same fashion.

Johan Botha gets the second over. One cannot forget how Botha, bowling with the new ball, scalped Gayle cheaply in a group match of the 2011 World Cup in Delhi and Warne must be hoping he can repeat that magic.

Gayle takes the single and Dilshan plays it fine on the leg side for his third four. But you cannot keep Gayle quiet for long and he promptly flicks the final ball of that over through midwicket to open his boundary count.

Live scorecard

Menaria has got into the attack straightaway. He cracks Gayle through covers but AB de Villiers come up with a brilliant diving saving on the boundary to stop a certain boundary.

The left-hander then hits Gayle down the throat of the long-on fielder to be dismissed for eight.

Gayle bowls a no-ball and then sends the free ball hit way down the leg side for five wides. Rajasthan get 11 runs from that Gayle despite losing the wicket of Menaria.

Zaheer to bowl the final over of the innings. He concedes just five runs as Rajasthan can only manage singles despite trying to hit every ball out of the park.

It is a good effort from the Bangalore bowlers to limit Rajasthan to 146 for six in 20 overs.

Live scorecard

Ross Taylor decides to attack. He tried to loft Langeveldt over the square leg but ended up holing to Kaif on the boundary to fall for 13.

Rajasthan have cranked up under pressure. Losing the wicket of Taylor is a big loss ahead of the final few overs, where they needed some big shots to swell their total.

Ashok Menaria pulls a short ball from Langeveldt through midwicket for his first four.

Live scorecard

Aravind starts with a slower delivery and Taylor works it on the leg side for a couple followed by a single down the ground.

The day keeps getting better for Aravind. The left-arm pacer, bowling from round the wickets, gets the outswinger to pitch perfectly to have Botha caught behind for 19.

Aravind has ended with respectable figures of three for 33 in four overs.
21:10
Live scorecard

Kohli takes the liberty of bowling his third over and continues to stifle the two batsmen with his slow medium pacers.

Botha and Ross Taylor not looking to take any risks at this stage and can manage just six runs from Kohli's third over, who has conceded just 17 runs in his three overs.

Langeveldt comes back for another spell. He is looking to keep it full and straight not allowing the batsmen any width to work with.

The first ball of that over gets two runs for Taylor, while just singles from the rest of the over as Rajasthan reach 119 for three in 16 overs.
21:01
Live scorecard

Rahane hit a half-century in his previous match and he is looking good again here. He needs no second invitation to drive a wide half volley from Kohli through the covers for a four.

Rajasthan are getting the boundaries and keeping the scoreboard going at a good rate.

Rahane continues Rajasthan's good progress as he steps down the wicket and lofts Kazi over the covers for a six to take his team past the 100-run mark, in the 14th over.

Botha tries the reverse sweep but hits it straight to the point fielder. The two batsmen have a huge misunderstanding and Rahane sacrifices his wicket and is run out for 17.

Rahane was looking good and it was unfortunate that he had to lose his wicket in such an unfortunate manner.

20:53
Live scorecard

Bangalore captain Kohli bring himself into the attack. Rajasthan are looking to stitch together a partnership after the two quick wickets as both Johan Botha and Ajinkya Rahane get just three singles from that over.

Left-arm spinner Abrar Kazi comes into the attack on his debut. Both the batsmen rotate the strike before Botha reverse sweeps the fourth ball for a boundary.

Rajasthan get nine runs from that over as they reach 86 for two in 12 overs.
20:45
Live scorecard

Rajasthan have decided to target young Aravind and this time it is Dravid. The right-hander shuffles across his stumps and flicks it past the short fine leg fielder for a four.

But two balls later, Watson hit it straight to the fielder on the long-off fielder to be dismissed for a brisk 34 from 29 balls.

A much needed wicket for Aravind, who was being attacked by both the batsmen.

And the left-arm pacer gets another big wicket in that over. Dravid lobs a simple catch back to the bowler after scoring 37 (31 balls) as Bangalore bounce back with a couple of quick wickets.

A wonderful over for Aravind as he sent both the openers packing, while conceding just six runs.
20:37
Live scorecard

Chris Gayle is brought into the attack now. Dravid welcomes him by driving his first delivery through the covers for a four.

He gets a double off the next delivery through the leg side but Gayle concedes only a single in the rest of that over.

Watson nearly throws his wicket away as he attempts a cross batted heave against Aravind and gets a boundary despite a brave effort from Mohammad Kaif at square leg.

But the next ball is confidently despatched over long-on for a six as Rajasthan look to lift the tempo after a steady start.

Gayle bowls a steady second over, conceding just five runs as the hosts reach 68 after nine overs.
20:25
Live scorecard

Dravid is a touch lucky as his chip down the ground just goes over the mid-on fielder and somehow makes it to the boundary.

Seven runs from that Zaheer over as Rajasthan reach 32 after five overs.

Dravid starts the next over in some style as he drives a full delivery from Langeveldt through point for a four. The former India captain gets lucky as he tries to steal a quick single but the fielder misses the direct hit. Dravid had given up and must be thanking his stars that the ball missed the stumps!

Watson makes sure it is a big over for RR as he lofts Langeveldt's final delivery over mid-on for a six.

20:16
Live scorecard

Dravid also starts off confidently. He crashed a wide delivery from Zaheer through the point region to get off the mark with a four.

Dravid plays his trademark flick through midwicket for yet another four off the next ball. The veteran retains strike with a single off the final ball of that over from Zaheer.

Charl Langeveldt into the attack and he starts off with a no ball. Dravid can't make full use of the free hit and hits it straight to the cover fielder.

But the medium pacer is quick to get back on track as he beats Dravid with the outswinger.

It is a good start by the South African pacer as just two runs come from that over.

20:08
Live scorecard

Watson gets the first boundary of the game. He lifted a full delivery from Sreenath Aravind over mid-off for a four and a couple of balls later he pulled a short delivery through midwicket for the same result.

10 runs from that over from Aravind.

20:04
Live scorecard

Rahul Dravid walks out to open the batting for Rajasthan Royals against his former team Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is partnered by Australian all-rounder Shane Watson.

Zaheer Khan with the new ball in his hand will once again look to claim a few early wickets.

Bangalore have a new wicketkeeper in Arun Kartick which means AB de Villiers is doing duty in the outfield.

Rajasthan off the mark with a wide as Zaheer bowls it down the leg side. Watson scores his first runs with a double to the thirdman region.

Good start by Zaheer giving away just four runs in the opening over.
19:53
Royal Challengers Bangalore stand-in captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, in Jaipur, on Wednesday.

Regular captain Daniel Vettori was forced to miss the match because of a knee injury and was replaced by Charl Langeveldt. 22-year-old Kohli took over the captaincy making him the youngest ever skipper in the history of the IPL.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan captain Shane Warne will be playing his last match in front of his home fans in Jaipur. The Australian spin legend will quit IPL at the end of the current season.

The hosts also made one change with pacer Pankaj Singh replacing Amit Singh.

The pitch at the Sawai Mansingh stadium will once again come under scrutiny and it will be interesting to see how the 22-yard strip behaves.
