IPL: Deccan Chargers beat Mumbai by 10 runs

Deccan Chargers scored an upset 10-run win over Mumbai Indians in their Indian Premier League match at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.
Chasing a modest target (136), the home side lost the plot early in their innings and could manage only 125 for eight in their stipulated quota of overs.
It was just the Chargers' fourth win in 12 matches while being Mumbai's fourth defeat in a similar number of games.
Mumbai dropped to second in the table following Royal Challengers Bangalore's win over Kolkata Knight Riders earlier in the day.
Deccan Chargers move a place up the bottom at ninth.

Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets in their Indian Premier League match at Chinnaswamy stadium on Saturday.
Chasing a revised target (102 in 13 overs) in a rain-curtailed match, Bangalore raced home with three balls to spare.
This was RCB's second successive win over KKR in this edition.
A whirlwind 12-ball 38 by the in-form Chris Gayle made it a comfortable chase for the home team.
Meanwhile, Deccan have lost their captain Kumar Sangakkara (27). Sanga was caught by Pollard off Dhawal Kulkarni. The visitors are 42 for two after eight overs.
JP Duminy has come in to bat.

Pomersbach now gets a bit aggresive as he slaps Kallis for a bounday. But Kallis has his revenge as he sends Pomersbach back -- thanks to the help from Unadkat.

Unadkat leaps in the air and takes a screamer. Pomersbach eyeing boundary slices one, but Unadkat timed the leap at mid off to take a high catch.

At the end of seven overs Bangalore were 70-2.

So finally Lee wins the battle as Gayle skies on --- high in the air as Jacques Kallis steadies himself for a catch.

Gayle was back in the hut after blistering 38 off 12 balls. His knock included six boundaris and two sixes.

At the end of three overs Bangalore were 46-1.

So according to D/L Bangalore will have to score 102 for a win as Brett Lee opens the bowling for Kolkata.

Gayle facing Lee -- a low full toss as Gayle finds a thickish edge for a boundary.

Next up Lee pitches one full as Gayle pushes forward as the ball rocks for a boundary.

No luck for Lee, Gayle gets an outside edge for the third boundary off the over.

Lee tries to pitch one up again as Gayle whacks it for another boundary over deep cover for another boundary.

At the end of first over Bangalore were 16-0.

With the rain threat looming large, by the look of it Pathan might play some shots in here.

As we speak Pathan dispatches a short delivery for a boundary. Pathan goes in again as Pomersbach dives full length -- though he is unable to hold on to it, saves a certain boundary.
