CSK beat Kochi Tuskers by 11 runs to go on top

Chennai Super Kings went on top the table with a convincing 12 runs win over Kochi Tuskers Kerala at MA Chidambaram stadium.

Requiring 19 runs off the final over, Kochi finished with141-5 runs off 20 overs.

Kochi struggledon a slow pitch as none of the batsmenexceptfor Brad Hodge looked comfortable.Hodge top scorred with 51 off 42 balls.

For Chennai Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers with 1-16 off his four overs.

Jakati castles McCullum after the Kiwi failed to get going in the Kochi innings. Chennai bowling has been tight and have't allowed too many boundary balls to come in.

McCullum charged down the track, looking to smash the bowler out of the park, missed the ball completely as the ball crashes into the middle stump.

Gnaneswara Rao and Brendon McCullum have put ondecent partnership to thwart Chennai bowlers any early breakthrough.

Kochi are under a new captain Parthiv Patel, withMahela Jayawardene out for the Englandtour. Murali is back for Kochi, while Chennai are going in with the same side.

Kochi have beaten Chennai in Kochi and would be hoping to do the double. One win is all that Chennai need to make the play-offs.
