West Indies end Day Two at 575-9

West Indies has dominated the opening two days of the third Test. 

At stumps on Day Two, the visitors had made 575 for nine, with Fidel Edwards batting on seven and Devendra Bishoo on two. 

It was yet another frustrating day for the Indian bowlers who struggle to assert themselves on a placid wicket.

He had Darren Bravo (166) caught behind. 

Bravo's 284-ball knock was inclusive of 17 hits to the fence. Bravo and Sammy put on 44 runs for the fifth wicket.

In a bid to capitalising on the breakthrough, Dhoni has handed the ball to Ishant Sharma, the latter replacing Sachin Tendulkar (6-0-24-0). The move failed to yield results.

West Indies are well-placed at tea at 494 for four (157 overs). 

Darren Bravo is unbeaten on 156 and Marlon Samuels is not out on 18.

Pragyan Ojha has finally managed to provide India a much-needed breakthrough. 

The left-arm spinner has Kieran Powell (81) caught behind. It is a just reward for his perseverance.

Powell's 149-ball was inclusive of nine boundaries, and he put on 160 for the fourth wicket with Bravo. 

Marlon Samuels comes out to replace Powell. 

West Indies 474 for four after 151 overs.

The fourth wicket partnership is now worth more than 150 runs. In his desperation to find a breakthrough Dhoni has made Sehwag bowl as many as 16 overs and even handed Tendulkar the ball. 

Bravo, however, has got past the 150-run mark for the second time in seven innings.

Bravo and Powell have put on more than 100 runs for the fourth wicket now. In the process, Powell has completed his second Test fifty.

West Indies has dominated the opening session on Day Two of the Wankhede Test. 

The visitors go into lunch comfortably-placed at 387 for three. 

Darren Bravo is unbeaten on 105 and Kieran Powell on 38, the two having added 64 runs for the fourth wicket. 

West Indies has managed to add 111 runs to their overnight total while India has managed a lone success (Kirk Edwards) during the session.

Darren Bravo completes a well-deserved hundred with a boundary off Ashwin. 

It is the 22-year-old's third Test hundred and his second against India, following his 136 in the second innings of the Kolkata Test. 

The fourth wicket partnership is now worth more than 50 runs.

West Indies 373 for three after 117 overs.

Kieran Powell is proving to be  perfect foil for Bravo. The two have so far put on 37 runs for the fourth wicket to take the West Indies total past the 350-run mark.

The visitors have made 351 for three, with Bravo 13 runs short of his third Test hundred.

Ishant Sharma has finally ended India's wait for a wicket. The quick has Kirk Edwards (86) caught behind. 

The dismissal has come in the day's 13th over.

Edwards' 165-ball knock was inclusive of 13 hits to the fence and he put on a valuable 164 runs for the fourth wicket with Darren Bravo to help build on the solid foundation given by the Windies openers. 

Darren Powell has come in to replace Edwards.

West Indies 314 for three after 104 overs.

With the quicks failing to find the breakthrough, MS Dhoni has handed the ball to Pragyan Ojha in the eighth over of the day. 

Ojha replaces Ishant (3-1-4-0). He concedes four runs in his first over. 

A boundary by Edwards (off Aaron) helps West Indies get past the 300-run mark.

West Indies 312 for two after 103 overs.

West Indies start Day Two at a comfortable 267 for two. 

Darren Bravo started unbeaten on 57 and Kirk Edwards on 65. The two will look to consolidate further and build on their third wicket partnership which is lready worth more than a hundred runs. 

Bravo ensured the same by smashing the first two deliveries of the day (off Varun Aaron) to the fence, the second of them helping him surpass 1, 000 Test runs.
