Timeline  Refresh

-Scorecard

It has started raining again at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and the Knight Riders are well ahead of the par score.

At this stage after nine overs, KKR should have been 61-1, but they well in front with 83-1.

If it doesn't stop raining, then KKR will walk home as winners.

Wayne Parnell provides an important breakthrough as he removes dangerous Manvinder Bisla for 19.

Both Bisla and Jacques Kallis have given Kolkata a flying start. Chasing a competitive 156 for win, the duo had put on 35 in just three overs before Parnell broke the partnership.

Skipper Gautam Gambhir is quickly off the mark with a flick off his pads for a single.

Kolkata at the end of four overs were 41-1.

-Scorecard

Led by Colin Ingram's brilliant 61 runs off 47 balls, alongwith JJ Smuts impressive 46, Warriors have managed to post a challenging 155-4 in the crucial T20 match in Bangalore.

It's a good total considering the ball is getting wet and boundaries are hard to comeby once the ball loses its shine.

Brett Lee was the most impressive bowler, picking up 1-25 in his four overs.

With three over to go, Warriors batsmen will now look to use the long handle. The KKR bolwers have slowed things pretty much and therefore there has been a good passage of play in the middle.

Kallis continues for his final over as Boucher takes a single. Ingram too is not able to clear the boundaries as they get another single.

And as we speak, Bocher walks past the stumps and scoops one past fine-leg for a boundary -- a much needed boundary.

And again!!! same shot and same result. Kallis is not happy.

At the end of 18 overs, Warriors were 138-2. Ingram is going strong on 60, while Boucher is on 25

Balaji provided the important breakthrough for Kolkata Knight Riders as he had JJ Smuts caught by Iqbal Abdullah for 46.

Smuts tries to pull a short ball from outside off, only to lob it in the air and Abdulla runs back from mid-off to take the catch over his shoulder just outside the circle.

Warriors were 99-2 after 13 overs. Ingram is on 46, while Boucher is on one

Balaji into the attack now. Warriors have done well after the early loss as Smuts smashes one into the outfield for a single.

The spinners have found it tough it to deal with the wet ball. Meanwhile Balaji digs one short and Smuts smashes one over the bowlers head for a boundary.

At the end of 11 overs Warriors were 88-1. Smuts is on 43, while Ingram is on 40.

-Scorecard

Iqbal Abdullah comes into the attack. Smuts and Ingram have given Warriors a tremendous start, depite losing Prince early.

Smuts especially has been in blazing form, smashing two boundaries of Yusuf Pathan inn the previous over.

At the end of seven overs Warriors were 48-1. Smuts is on 29, while Ingram is on 15.

-Scorecard

Jacques Kallis into the attack for the second over of the innings.  A short delivery to Smuts, goes for a pull but doesn't connect it.

Couple of balls later, Smuts dispatches a widish delivery towards the long-off boundary.

A single means now Kallis will be bowling to fellow South African. And Kallis has his man....

Uncharacteristic shuffle from Prince tries to smack one through midwickt, misses the ball all together -- has his stumps shattered in the end.

Prince is on his way back for just four runs to his name.

Warriors at the end of three overs were 23-1, with Smuts on 15, while Colin Ingram is on three.

20:23

Kolkata Knight Riders have won the toss and skipper Gautam Gambhir had no hesitation in inviting Warriors to bat first.

Kolkata have made three changes to their side with Brad Haddin, Jaidev Unadkat and Shami Ahmed are not playing. Bisla, Shakib and Balaji return.

Warriors are going in with the same team that played against South Australian Redbacks.

So the rain plays spoil sport once again. This match has been abandoned. It's still drizzling, nad by the look of it, we will be lucky if we get to see the other match.

- Scorecard

It's raining and covers are coming on the field. It's getting heavier... No way that the play will start on time.

15:36

South Australian Redbacks have won the toss and have elected to bowl first against Somerset at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

It's overcast in here and perhaps thats one of the reason why the Redbacks would like to know the exact runs that they would be chasing incase of D/L.

Redbacks have left out Shaun Tait, while Somerset have a "Delly Belly" situation with Lewis Gregory missing out.
