England edge India at The Oval

England beat India by three wickets (D/L method) in the second ODI at The Oval on Friday to take an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series. 

Chasing a revised target of 218, England reached home with seven balls to spare.

Raina, who gave away just seven runs in his first four overs, concedes nine off his fifth, including a boundary to Bopara. 

Jadeja is back into the attack in the 37th over, replacing Raina (5-0-16-0). He concedes three runs in what is his eighth over.

RP Singh comes in to replace Munaf (7-0-46-1) in the next over implying a double bowling change for India. He concedes seven including a boundary off the final ball to Bopara.

The 50-run partnership for the sixth wicket is up for England. Jadeja strikes in his last over, rattling Bresnan's (28) stumps, thereby ending a sixth wicket stand that yielded England 60 runs off just 67 balls.

England 193 for six after 39 overs.

Dhoni has got Munaf back into the attack in the 32nd over, replacing Ashwin (8-0-32-2).Bresnan runs four off his second ball to raise the English 150. 

He follows it up with a boundary towards the right of sweeper cover. Bresnan takes 10 runs off Munaf. The next over by Raina is a good one with just a run coming off it and Bresnan dropped by Dhoni off the last ball.

England has made 165 for five after 34 overs.

R Ashwin has brought India right back into the match by cleaning up Ben Stokes (20). Bopara is the last specialist batsman left with a long tail to bat with.

Bell is looking in good touch. He has just hit Jadeja for successive boundaries. Six runs come off Ashwin's fifth over. 

The two batsman have begun at a much faster pace after resumption, especially Bell.

And now Stokes smashes Jadeja for a maximum over long-on. Suresh Raina comes in to replace Jadeja (7-0-36-1) in the 27th over. And a nice piece of work by Dhoni means a dangerous-looking Bell (23) is run out.

With Bell's dismissal a fourth-wicket stand of 42 comes to an end. Ravi Bopara comes in to bat.
