Timeline  Refresh

23:05

The verdict is out, the match has officially been called off in Bengaluru.

The groundstaff need another 45 minutes to get the ground ready. The cut-off time, however, is only 20 minutes away.

The Bangalore-Chennai match did one better than Tuesday's late night match between Kolkata and Deccan as the toss did take place.

But that's the best that it could get here at Chinnaswamy.

21:01

Rain has once again hit Chinnaswamy stadium as there will be a delayed start.

Just 2 minutes before the start of play, showers came down after RCB had won the toss and elected to bowl first.

A reminder the game can start even at 11.20pm, where we can have a five-over game.

20:40

The BIGG news from the middle is Royal Challengers Bangalore have won the toss and have elected to bowl first sans Daniel Vettori.

Vettori who pulled out because of the hamstring, means we will have Virat Kohli will lead the side.

Andrew McDonald willl replace Vettori in the line up.
