Root, Prior steady England innings

Here is a picture of England debutant Joe Root as a kid. This picture was posted on Twitter by his father Matt Root.

"Congratulations son on your first test appearance!" Matt writes on Twitter.

And his son Joe is certainly doing a good job so far, having battled his way to 28 from 79 balls on a tough wicket for batsmen.

England are 186 for five after 88 overs with Matt Prior on 25.

Prior and Root have steadied the innings with a patient partnership of 47 runs in 20.3 overs.
