England lasted for nearly an hour in the post lunch session before they lost their remaining three wickets after scoring 53 runs 16.5 overs.

Ishant took three for 49 in 28 overs, while debutant Jadeja bowled the most number of overs for India to claim two for 58 in 37 overs.

India's frontline bowlers disappointed as Ashwin took one for 66 in 24 overs, while Ojha finished wicketless in 35 overs.

Indian bowlers had a total of 42 overs out of the total of 145.5 overs they sent down in the first innings.
