Pujara, Gambhir steady India after early wkt

Gambhir charges down the wicket to Panesar and lofts him over mid-on to complete 4000 runs in Test cricket, in his 54th match.

Graeme Swann comes on from the other end as Gambhir is content to play for tea and defends the over and Pujara does the same off the next over from Panesar.

India are 32 for one in 12 overs at tea on Day 2, trailing England by 298 runs.

Gambhir is on 17 (32 balls) while Pujara has made 15 from 38 balls. The duo have put on 31 runs in 11.3 overs for the second wicket to steady India after the early dismissal of Sehwag, who was bowled for a duck in the first over of the innings.
