Since the lunch break, India have made 49 runs in 18 overs with both Dhoni and Kohli hitting half-centuries.

Kohli hit back to back boundaries, hitting Bresnan and Panesar, through the covers in successive overs.

Dhoni has taken his score to 59 from 152 balls and Kohli is batting 62 from 214 balls with the partnership growing to 195 for four in 91 overs.

India trail England by 135 runs and the visitors will start to worry as India start to inch their way ahead in the contest, slowly but steadily.
