India will hope the in-form R Ashwin can score some runs and take them past England's first innings total of 330. They are 297 for eight and trail the visitors by 33 runs, with just two wickets in hand.

England will be looking to polish off the Indian tail early and then bat India out of the match.

It will be interesting to see if the pitch continues to remain slow and dead or offers something for the spinners on Day 4 and Day 5.
