- Scorecard

SL 215 all out (48.5 ovs) vs Australia 231

Maharoof gets a single from McKay's first ball, while Malinga is beaten off the next ball as he tries to heave the next ball. The change of pace foxes Malinga as partner Maharoof walks up to him and gives him a few tips.

That seems to have worked as Malinga pulls the next ball, again a slower one, through midwicket for a four. But he misses the next ball yet again as Malinga tries another wild heave.

The next ball is full and on the stumps and Malinga plays all over it to be bowled for six.

McKay is the hero with the ball for Australia as he took five for 28 in 9.5 overs, while also scoring 28 vital runs with the bat.

Australia win the three-match finals 2-1 to win the CB tri-series tournament.

SL 202-7 (45 ovs)

16:21

Australia continue to gamble with Doherty, hoping to get a wicket. The over starts with singles apiece for both batsmen before Maharoof sweeps him through square leg for a four and then hits one down the ground for a single to take the total to 198-7 in 44 overs, needing 34 from 36 balls.

- Live scorecard

SL 187-7 (42 ovs)

Tharanga is still struggling to find the gaps. McKay bowls three dot balls before Tharanga gets a single off the fourth ball. Farveez Maharoof takes a single next up before Tharanga wastes another delivery. 174-7 (40) SL need 58 from 60 balls for victory.

Christian comes back for a new spell. He has bowled his first five overs for nine runs only. Maharoof takes a single off the first ball he faces, but his partner can't get the ball in the gaps. Tharanga plays out another couple of dot balls before he offers no shot to a wide short delivery from Christian.

Tharanga cuts the next ball to the point region for a couple and gets a single off the last ball to get four runs from the over. SL now need 54 from 54 balls. 178-7 (41)

Watson takes a gamble now by bringing on Doherty. Tharanga immediately goes after him, chipping the first ball down the ground for a couple. He steps down the wicket and slams the next ball over covers for a maximum as nine runs come from that over.

WICKET!!! SL 172-7 (38.5 ovs)

Kulasekara c Lyon b Lee 15 (10b, 2x4)

A horror start to Lee in his eighth over. Kulasekara crashes the first ball through the covers for a boundary and Lee bowls the next way down the leg side to give away five wides.

However, Lee cripples Sri Lanka further by picking up the wicket of dangerman Kulasekara, who holes out to mid-on in his attempt to hit a big shot down the ground.
15:53
- Live scorecard

SL 161-6 (38 ovs)

Nuwan Kulasekara walks out to the middle. He nearly took Sri Lanka in the first final with a swashbuckling half-century and Sri Lanka need another similar innings from him here.

Lee comes back for another spell. The first ball is a good yorker to Kulasekara, which he manages to dig out safely. Kulasekara smashes the next ball down the ground for a much needed boundary and then gets three runs off the next ball as Lyon half-stops it at mid-off.

Tharanga ensured that it was a big over for Sri Lanka as he chips the fifth ball over mid-on for a four. 155-6 (37)

Tharanga takes a double on the leg side off McKay and then gets a single off the next to complete his half-century from 94 balls. Six runs from that McKay over as Sri Lanka reach 161 for six, need 71 from 72 balls for victory.

Kapugedara c Wade b McKay 7 (18b)

The Batting Powerplay is in effect now. The match will be decide on how Sri Lanka can make use of the five overs of fielding restrictions.

McKay into the attack now. He starts with three dot balls as the crowd also start getting impatient now. The fourth ball is on the pads as Tharanga plays it fine to get three runs.

McKay then makes the breakthrough with a virtually unplayable delivery. He bowls from wide of the crease and delivers a perfect outswinger which pitches on and around the off-stump before taking the edge and Wade completes a sharp catch behind the wickets.
15:35
- Live scorecard

SL 139-5 (35 ovs)

Four singles in the next over from Lyon as both batsmen look to use their foot against the off-spinner and rotate the strike. 138-5 (34)

Meanwhile, Christian continues to bowl dot balls. He bowls 11 dot balls in a row before Tharanga takes a single in the covers. But that is the only single in the over as the required run rate continues to climb. 139-5 (35)

SL now need 93 from 90 balls for victory.
15:32
- Live scorecard

SL 134-5 (33 ovs)

Christian comes back for a new spell, replacing his captain Watson. Four singles from that over from Christian as both batsmen looking to cut out the risks and just building the innings. 127-5 (31)

Lyon comes on for his second spell. He is hit for a boundary off his first ball as Tharanga cuts a short ball past the point region. That is the first four after a gap of ten overs and two balls later he gets another double and the target is under 100 runs now. 134-5 (32)

Christian is doing a good job with the ball. Tharanga fails to find the gaps and gives away a maiden over as the drinks breaks is taken.
15:14
- Live scorecard

SL 123-5 (30 ovs)

Sri Lanka's last hope now as their Chamara Kapugedara walks in to bat at number seven. He plays out the last two balls of that Watson over, who has taken one for seven in four overs.

That wicket has impacted Sri Lanka's momentum. Doherty concedes two singles in his fifth over as Australia look to build the pressure again. 115-5 (28)

Kapugedara plays Watson through point to get a single. Tharanga also struggling to find the gaps as he plays three dot balls before a single off the fifth ball as Watson ends another good over, giving away just two runs. 117-5 (29)

Tharanga decides it's time to break the shackles. He steps down the wicket to Doherty and slaps him through the covers for a boundary, the first after a long wait of 10 overs.

He takes a quick single three balls later and only a full length dive from Kapugedara saw him make his ground at the striker's end. At the end of that over Sri Lanka reach 123 for five, needing 110 from the last ten overs for victory.

WICKET!!! SL 113-5 (26.4 ovs)

Thirimanne c Warner b Watson 30 (57b, 1x4)

Tharanga tries to attack Doherty as he steps down the wicket but fails to get it off the middle and the ball falls short of Watson at mid-off. Doherty is pitching it on the rough and getting a fair bit of assistance. Just three runs from that over. 112-4 (26)

Watson finally breaks the partnership. Thirimanne tries to hit it through the point region but it goes straight to Warner at point to fall for 30.

14:56
- Live scorecard

SL 109-4 (25 ovs)

Xavier Doherty replaces Lyon, who bowled six overs for 25 runs, and he starts with four wides down the leg side. But he keeps the batsmen quiet for the rest of the over as Thirimanne plays out six dot deliveries. 106-4 (26)

Watson is back into the attack after a short burst from Lee. It's only singles for the two batsmen as three more come from the Watson over to take Sri Lanka to 109 for four at the halfway stage.
14:48
- Live scorecard

SL 102-4 (23 ovs)

Lee back into the attack. Watson must be hoping to end Sri Lanka's hopes totally by snaring another wicket here. Thirimanne and Tharanga are getting the singles more easily now as they collect six runs from the 21st over bowled by Lee. 93-4 (21)

Tharanga gets a thick edge as he looks to cut Lyon and that gets him three runs. Six runs from that over from Lyon as Sri Lanka continue to rebuild their innings. 99-4 (22)

Thirimanne clips Lee to the leg side for a single to take Sri Lanka past the 100-run mark,in the 23rd over. Once again Lee is penalised for bowling a high bouncer as it is called as a wide. But only three runs conceded from that Lee over.
14:40
- Live scorecard

SL 87-4 (20 ovs)

With Sri Lanka not looking to attack, Australia have taken the Bowling Powerplay as soon as it was available. Lyon continues and Sri Lanka can only get four singles in Lyon's third over. 71-4 (16)

McKay comes back for another spell after his first, when he took one for five in three overs. He continues to keep things tight as just single conceded from that over. 72-4 (17)

The asking run rate is starting to creep near the five-runs per over mark. Lyon has settled into a good rhythm here and Watson might be tempted to let him continue for a long spell. Lyon ends up giving another three singles in his fourth over as Sri Lanka are content to bide their time out in the middle. 75-4 (18)

McKay also content to keep the batsmen quiet, just sticking to the basics at the moment. Thirimanne gets just a single off the first balls of that over, while Tharanga drives the next ball through covers and despite a good fielding on the boundary, the batsmen run four. 80-4 (19)

Thirimanne finally breaks the shackles as he cuts a short ball from Lyon past the point fielder for a four. Sri Lanka get seven runs from that over as they reach 87 for four in 20 over, need another 145 runs from 30 overs for victory.
14:16
- Live scorecard

SL 67-4 (15 ovs)

As expected, Sri Lanka are just looking to defend at the moment and runs are pretty hard to come. Lyon is getting a bit of help at the moment as he looks to give a bit of flight. He concedes three singles from his second over. 63-4 (14)

Thirimanne cuts a wide ball from Christian past point for two runs, but they get more runs from that over as Australia continue to stop the flow of runs.
14:07
- Live scorecard

SL 60-4 (13 ovs)

McKay has been instrumental in Australia's dominant position so far. He has taken two for five in three overs, including a maiden.

Watson continues the good work by Australian bowlers as he concedes a single each to Lahiru Thirimanne and Upul Tharanga, in the 11th over.

Nathan Lyon comes in to bowl for the first time in ODIs. His first ball is bang on mark as Tharanga can only defend it. The left-hander dances down the wicket off the next ball but doesn't get it off the middle and thankfully for Sri Lanka the ball falls short of the fielder at mid-on. A tidy start for Lyon as he gives just two runs in that over. 59-4 (12)

Daniel Christian comes into the attack now after just two overs from Watson. As Wasim Akram points out on commentary Christian is holding the ball cross-seamed despite the ball being just 12 overs old. Thirimanne gets a single off the second ball of that over and that is the only run in that over.

WICKET!!! SL 53-4 (9.3 ovs)

Jayawardene b McKay 15 (27b, 1x4)

Captain Watson also ringing in the changes. He brings himself into the attack to bowl the ninth over and starts off well by conceding just a single in his opening over. 53-3 (9)

McKay gobbles up another big wicket here. Jayawardene plays all over an incoming delivery only to miss it completely and is bowled for 15.

Sri Lanka in big trouble at the moment. Their top order is back in the hut and once again they will rely on their tail to bail them out.
13:41
- Live scorecard

WICKET!!! SL 52-3 (7.3 ovs)

Chandimal lbw b McKay 5 (7b, 1x4)

Dinesh Chandimal, who has had a good run with the bat in tournament, also gets off the mark with a boundary. He cut a short, wide delivery from Lee past the point fielder to get a four and take Sri Lanka past the 50-run mark, in the seventh over.

Clint McKay has a loud LBW appeal against Chandimal but he is clearly struck outside the off-stump and is rightly given not out. But two balls later, he is hit right in front of the stumps and is dismissed leg before wicket for five.

WICKET!!! SL 47-2 (6.2 ovs)

Sangakkara c Watson b Lee 19 (9b, 3x4)

Pacer Clint McKay comes into replace Xavier Doherty, who was hit for 18 runs in two overs. Sangakkara is looking in superb touch at the moment, as he flicks McKay through midwicket to get another three runs. But a good start from McKay as he gives away just three runs in his first over. 43-1 (6)

Sangakkara now takes on the short delivery from Lee and pulls it on the leg side for a four.

But Lee has his revenge when he claims the big wicket of Sangakkara to leave Sri Lanka stunned. The left-hander went after a wide outgoing delivery from Lee but got an edge that was taken by Watson at first slip.

13:33
- Live scorecard

SL 40-1 (5 ovs)

New batsman Kumar Sangakkara is off the mark in some style with two spectacular cover drives that went for boundaries off Doherty, in the fourth over. The left-hander made Doherty pay in full as he overpitched it on both occasions as Sri Lanka continued their flying start to reach 33 for one in four overs.

Lee is unhappy with the umpires now after a bouncer is ruled a wide for being too high. Sangakkara drills one down the ground to get three runs as seven runs come from that over from Lee.

13:21
- Live scorecard

WICKET!!! SL 23-1 (3 ovs)

T Dilshan c D Hussey b B Lee 8 (8b, 2x4)

Jayawardene is looking to make the most of the fielding restrictions. He charges down the wicket to Lee and cracks him through the off-side for a four. The two players are having a go at each other in the middle.

Jayawardene next tries the chip over midwicket that fetches him a couple.

But Lee has the last laugh in that over as he claims the wicket of the in-form Dilshan. The right-hander tries to play it across the line on the leg side but gets a leading edge that is taken by David Hussey on the off-side.

13:17
- Live scorecard

SL 16-0 (2 ovs)

Mahela Jayawardene cuts a short ball from Brett Lee through point and he gets a double to get Sri Lanka off the mark. The right-hander tries to glance the next ball fine on the leg side and it goes off his pads for four leg byes. He ends the over with a flick through midwicket to end the over with two more runs as Sri Lanka get eight runs from the first over. 8-0 (1)

Australia try to surprise the Sri Lankans by getting left-arm spinner Xavier Doherty to partner Lee with the new ball. Tillakaratne Dilshan is off the mark in style as he crashes a short ball from Xavier through point for a four and sweeps the last ball of that over for the same result.

Sri Lanka off to a flier, having reached 16 for no loss in two overs.

Aus 231 all out (49.3 ovs)

Kulasekara finishes off things in the final over with the wickets of Lee and debutant Nathan Lyon

Lee tries a big hit but has no answers to the yorker from Kulasekara which hits his shoes before going on to the stumps. Lee made an important contribution of 32 and helped Australia post a respectable total after their middle order failed to come to the party.

Nathan Lyon lasts just one ball in his first appearance with the bat in ODIs. He tries to heave it over the leg side but is caught at deep midwicket for a golden duck.

It completes a good bowling effort from the Sri Lankans. Herath (3-36) and Maharoof (3-40) did most of the damage in the middle overs, while Kulasekara (2-40) cleaned up the tail.

But Australia have got a competitive total and if they pick up early wickets, then Sri Lanka will not find it easy.

12:33
- Live scorecard

Aus 231-8 (49 ovs)

Malinga gets back his control in his final over. It's all yorkers as Lee somehow digs it out on the leg side for a single. Xavier Doherty has problems getting the ball away for runs, even singles are difficult to come. Just three runs from that over as Malinga ends up giving away 69 runs in his 10 overs.
12:31
- Live scorecard

Aus 228-8 (48 ovs)

Malinga was unlucky not to have picked up a wicket in that over. Lee chipped it over the off-side but Maharoof at deep extra cover could not get there in time. Malinga went for seven runs in that over. 225-8 (47)

Kulasekara continues to be miserly with his bowling as he gives just three runs in his ninth over. He is looking to bowl yorkers and is successful with his length, keeping the batsmen down to just singles.

WICKET!!! Aus 218-8 (45.5 ovs)

C Mckay c Maharoof b Herath 28 (32, 3x4, 1x6)

McKay and Lee scoring some vital runs for Australia. McKay chips down the track to Herath and lofts him over the covers for a four, his third of the innings.

However, Herath has his man a few deliveries later as he tries to hit Herath over midwicket but ends up hitting it straight to Maharoof at deep midwicket.

Aus 213-7 (45 ovs)

Meanwhile, there are reports that Rahul Dravid will quit Test cricket. He is set to make an announcement on Friday. BCCI president N Srinivasan and Rahul Dravid will address the media at 12:30 pm on Friday at Chinnaswamy Stadium, in Bangalore.

End of a great career! He was one of the greats in Test cricket.

Meanwhile, back to the third final in Adelaide. Malinga back for what could be his last spell. Lee hit the first ball to the covers to get two runs, and then cracks the next one through that same region to get a boundary.

He repeated the shot again off the penultimate ball as Malinga missed the yorker again and Lee gets a double.
11:58
- Live scorecard

Aus 201-7 (43 ovs)

Captain Jayawardene keeps on juggling his bowlers. Kulasekara is now brought back, to replace Herath, and he gives away just two runs in that over. 191-7 (41)

Herath is back from the other end. This is Jayawardene's 15th bowling change of the innings and we are into the 42nd over now!

McKay fields the first three balls of that over straight to the fielders before a single off the next. Lee also cannot get the final two balls of that over for runs as it ends a good over from Herath. 192-7 (42)

McKay guides Kulasekara to the thirdman region for two runs to the thirdman region. A few balls later he heaved Kulasekara over the midwicket region for a six to take Australia to the 200-run mark.

11:47
- Live scorecard

Aus 189-7 (40 ovs)

Maharoof ends with splendid figures of three for 40 in ten overs. He played a big role in crippling the Aussie innings in the middle overs with good disciplined bowling, while also claiming three wickets.

Clint McKay is the new man for Australia and the tail will look to last as long as possible. Just one over from Malinga in that spell before he is replaced by Herath. The veteran spinner keeps the runs down in that over, giving away just three singles. 181-7 (39)

So it's a change of ends for Malinga here. The Sri Lankan pacer has not looked at this best today, there are also reports that he played despite a few niggles. Malinga's misses his radar with the yorker and McKay gets an easy boundary as he flicks it fine on the leg side for a four. McKay also got another four in that over when he lofted Malinga over the mid-off fielder.

WICKET!!! Aus 177-7 (37.3 ovs)

Christian c Jayawardene b Maharoof 19 (26b, 2x4)

15 overs to go and the five overs of Batting Powerplay comes into effect. With Christian looking positive, Australia will be hoping he can continue and take the total to somewhere near the 250-run mark, while Sri Lanka will be looking to bundle out the innings as soon as possible.

Maharoof to bowl his ninth over. Christian and Lee both get a single each in that over as Maharoof continues to impress with the ball. 166-6 (36)

As expected, Malinga brought into bowl in the Powerplay. He is mixing his pace quite well keeping the batsmen guessing. Lee nearly falls victim to one of the slow balls but his leading edge goes over the cover fielder and falls safely. Quite a few plays and misses for Lee in this over, who has no idea at what pace Malinga is bowling. But Lee connects off the final ball of that over, pulling a short ball through midwicket for a four. 175-6 (37)

Maharoof strikes in his final over and once again, it is the slower delivery that does the trick. Christian charges down the wicket to Maharoof but is foxed by the change of pace and he then looks to check his shot, but ends up chipping it straight to Jayawardene at mid-off.

11:20
- Live scorecard

Aus 164-6 (35 ovs)

Sri Lanka will be looking to go for the kill and bowl Australia below 200. The combination of Herath and Maharoof have not only dried up the runs but also taken wickets.

Herath comes to bowl his fifth over. Christian takes a single off the first ball and Brett Lee plays out four dot balls before getting one off the final ball of that over. 153-6 (33)

Lee will look to bat cautiously and give Christian support. He is lucky in that over as the incoming delivery misses the stumps by inches as Lee is beaten all ends up. Just a single from that Maharoof over. 154-6 (34)

Lee dances down the wicket to Herath and takes a single on the leg side. Christian on the attack now. He chips down the wicket and hits Herath through midwicket where a lazy effort from Malinga gives him a boundary. Christian does it again as he charges down the wicket and lofts Herath over the mid-on fielder for another four.

WICKET!!! Aus 151-6 (32 ovs)

D Hussey lbw b Maharoof 19 (29b, 1x4)

Good positive captaincy from Mahela Jayawardene, having a slip and a short mid-on in place to Herath. The left-arm spinner is also flighting the ball and looking to force the batsmen into a mistake.

It's only singles at the moment as Australia get five from the Herath over. 149-5 (31)

Maharoof bowls two dot balls to David Hussey before he clips the next to square leg for a single to take Australia to 150 in the 32nd over. Sri Lanka get another crucial wicket in that over as Hussey is trapped leg before wicket by Maharoof as Australia continue to slip.

The ball came in sharply and struck Hussey a bit high, above the pads but umpire Asad Rauf ruled in the bowler's favour. Replays show the ball could have gone over the stumps.
11:01
- Live scorecard

Aus 144-5 (30 ovs)

Herath has played a big part in Sri Lanka's dominant position. First he took a good catch to get rid of Watson, and then took two wickets in his first two overs.

The best over from Malinga so far. He keeps it on a good line and length, giving away just three singles in that over, his fifth of the innings. 138-5 (28)

Herath also continues the good over, conceding three singles in that over. His figures read two for six in three overs. 141-5 (29)

Maharoof returns to bowl a new spell, replacing Malinga who bowled just two overs in his last spell.

While David Hussey is rotating the strike easily, Christian is finding it tough to get the singles. Australia have scored just 19 runs from the last five overs, while losing one wicket.

WICKET!!! Aus 135-5 (26.4 ovs)

Forrest b Herath 3 (7b)

Sri Lanka have inched their way back with some good disciplined bowling in the middle overs. Australia have lost three wickets for eight runs in the space of 21 deliveries to waste their good start.

At the halfway stage, Australia are 123 for four, and David Hussey and Peter Forrest need to steady the innings with a big partnership.

Malinga, who has struggled so far, comes back for another spell. David Hussey hits him to the thirdman region to get a couple and then cuts a short ball through point for a boundary. Malinga's poor day continues as he gives away nine runs in that over.

Herath does it again! This time he claims the wicket of Forrest, who is bowled for three. The right-hander plays inside the line and tries to drive to the off-side but the ball turns more than he expects beating the bat to bowl him.

Australia have lost four wickets for 20 runs in the space of 36 deliveries.

WICKET!!! Aus 123-4 (24.1 ovs)

Wade c Sangakkara b Herath 49 (74b, 3x4)

Australia losing their way after that good start from Warner and Wade as the openers put on 75 runs for the first wicket. But Sri Lanka have checked their progress with regular wickets, picking up the last two wickets in the space of two overs.

Dilshan bowls a tidy last over to complete a good spell of one for 41 in ten overs. He also accounted for the run out of Mike Hussey and has been instrumental in pulling back things for Sri Lanka. 121-3 (23)

Rangana Herath, who earlier took a good catch in the outfield, starts off with a wicket. He strikes with his first ball of the match as Wade is caught behind for 49 as he looks to cut one but only manages to edge it.

WICKET!!! Aus 119-3 (22 ovs)

M Hussey run out (Dilshan) 1(3b)

As Australia continue to build their score, Sri Lanka keep coming back by striking wickets at regular intervals.

Mike Hussey is the new batsman and he walks in to bat ahead of Peter Forrest, who has been so consistent at number three in the early stages of the competition.

The gamble fails for the hosts. Sri Lanka keep chipping away at the wickets and this time it Mike Hussey, who is run out for one by a direct hit from Dilshan at point.

Aus 112-1 (20 ovs)

Wade takes a single on the leg side to take Australia past the 100-run mark, in the 19th over. A couple of balls later, he drives a full ball through the covers for a boundary. 104-1 (19)

Watson seems to be targetting Malinga here. He lofts the pacer over mid-on for a boundary off the first ball of that over and takes a single off the third. Malinga continues to leak runs as eight come from his third over and he has now given 24 runs in three overs.

Aus 89-1 (17 ovs)

Dilshan continues and he is bowling some useful overs here. Three singles from that Dilshan, who has now given 29 runs in his seven overs. 78-1 (15)

Sri Lanka take the Bowling Powerplay at the start of the 16th over. Watson defends the first two balls before he plays one to thirdman for a single. Wade cuts a wide delivery past the point fielder to get a couple of runs as Malinga stops that one on the ropes and then takes a single off the final ball of that over. 82-1 (16)

Warner c Sangakkara b Maharoof 48 (45b, 5x4, 1x6)

Meanwhile, we have updates on Australia captain Michael Clarke's injury.

"Michael Clarke scan confirms strain of left hamstring. Won't travel to West Indies initially but expected to be fully fit," confirms CA media officer Lachy Patterson on Twitter.

Four singles in Maharoof's over before he ends the over with the big wicket of Warner. The left-hander gives himself a bit of room and tries to drive an outgoing delivery but only gets an edge which is pouched by a diving Sangakkara behind the stumps.

Warner and Maharoof exchange a few words as the batsman is walking back to the pavilion.

After a brief rest, Dilshan is back for his second spell. Warner gets a couple off the first ball and a single from the next. With the fielders spread out now, Australian openers are content to rotate the strike and get six runs from that Dilshan over. 62-0 (11)

Warner pulls a short ball from Maharoof through midwicket to get his fifth boundary of the innings coupled with three more singles from that over. After a cautious start, Wade also seems to have got his eye in and is now finding it easy to keep the scoreboard moving. 69-0 (12)

Kulasekara comes back for his second spell. Wade hits his first ball past the point fielder for a couple of runs. A few balls later, Malinga misfields at the short fine leg and allows the batsman an easy single, which takes Australia past the 50-run mark.

Warner has scored 35 runs of those runs, from 28 balls, while Wade has contributed 13. 50-0 (9)

After giving away 12 runs in his previous, Dilshan has given away to Farveez Maharoof. The lanky pacer gives away five runs in his opening over as Australia continue making good progress.

Aus 47-0 (8 ovs)

Lasith Malinga is introduced into the attack, replacing Kulasekara who bowled two overs for 12 runs.

Not a good start for Malinga as an inside edge from Warner goes past the stumps and the keeper to the boundary behind the wickets. He clips one through the leg side to get a couple of runs and then takes a single off the final ball to get seven runs from that over. 26-0 (6)

Warner has had enough of Dilshan as slog sweeps him over midwicket for a boundary and then gets a couple off the next ball.

Warner, who has hit two centuries in his last two innings, continues his good run. He lofts Dilshan over the cover region for the first six of the innings and get 12 runs from that over. 38-0 (7)

After a steady start, Australia beginning to open up and Warner is leading their charge.

Warner drives Malinga through the covers and get three runs as it is saved on the ropes. A couple of balls later, Wade steers Malinga fine on the off-side and gets his first boundary despite a good effort from Maharoof on the thirdman region as nine runs come from that over.

Aus 19-0 (5 ovs)

It has been a quiet start for Australia so far. Warner breaks the shackles as he drives a full delivery from Kulasekara down the ground for the first four of the innings. A single each for both the batsmen before Warner lofts Kulasekara back over his head for the second four of the innings. A huge appeal for LBW off the final ball of that over, but it was pitched outside the leg-stump and was ruled in favour of the batsman. 16-0 (4)

Dilshan continues to keep it tight despite bowling in the Powerplay. Just three singles from his third over and he has now conceded just six from his three overs.

David Warner gets off the mark immediately, guiding Nuwan Kulasekara past the point fielder for a boundary.

Wade is finding it tough to get going here. Another couple of dot balls before he steps down the wicket to Kulasekara and tries a wild heave over the off-side. The left-hander misses the ball and there is a huge appeal from wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara behind the stumps. Immediately, the keeper has come up to the wickets to prevent Wade from going down the track again!

Kulasekara bowls one down the leg side but is lucky that Sangakkara gets something to that and stops a certain boundary. 2-0 (2)

Dilshan keeping it just outside the off-stump and Warner hits the first two balls straight to the fielders before taking a single off the third.

Wade gets off the mark from the 13th ball he has faced today, using his feet and hitting Dilshan on the leg side for a couple.
