Herschelle Gibbs abd Sachin Tendulkar open the batting for Mumbai while it is Lakshmipathy Balaji first up for Kolkata.

Four runs come off the first over, courtesy a Gibbs' boundary. Shakib shares the new ball. He concedes two runs while Tendulkar survives a leg before shout off his last ball.

Mumbai 14 without loss after four overs.
