R Ashwin has become India's third centurion in this Test - after Virender Sehwag and Cheteshwar Pujara. 

He concedes 100 runs in the England second innings (39 overs). 

The visitors eventually take the lead in the 122nd over, courtesy a boundary off Ojha by Prior.

A couple in Yuvraj's third over helps Cook reach 150 (in 283 balls). 

A boundary off Ojha, Prior's sixth, helps England reach the 300-run mark in the 110th over. The shot also brings on the 100-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

With Ashwin (34-7-90-0) failing to make an impact, Dhoni hands the ball to Yuvraj after tea. Five runs come off his first over.

A couple in Yuvi's second over helps Prior complete a well-deserved half century. It is his 23rd Test fifty, his fourth against India.

England head into tea at 264 for five (in 100 overs). 

Alastair Cook is batting on 138 and giving him company is Matt Prior on 40, the two having put on 65 runs for the sixth wicket. 

The visitors still require 66 runs to make India bat again.

A single by Cook off Ojha helps England reach the 200-run mark in the 78th over.

The second new ball is taken after 82.2 overs. 

A boundary off Ojha by Prior, his fifth, helps complete a 50-run partnership for the sixth wicket in the 90th over. A crucial stand for England for sure.

It takes eight overs before India make their first breakthrough in the second session. 

Umesh Yadav has Ian Bell (22) out leg before. Replays suggest the ball was going down the leg side. Unlucky for Bell.

His 59-ball knock was inclusive of three boundaries and he helped Cook put on 39 runs for the fourth wicket.

Yadav strikes next ball as well, having Samit Patel out leg before.

England go into lunch at 182 for three after 69 overs, trailing by 148 runs.

A couple off Umesh Yadav helps Alastair Cook complete a well-deserved hundred. It is the 21st Test hundred for the England captain, his third against India.

More importantly, it is his fifth hundred in subcontinent, the most by an England batsman.

Ojha replaces Ashwin (9-1-19-0) in the 58th over and strikes first ball, having Jonathan Trott (17) caught behind. 

An out of form Trott survived 43-balls, hitting two fours, and helping his captain put on 33 runs for the second wicket.
