England 1st inns: 108-2 (43 ovs) vs India 327

Harbhajan starts after the tea break. Pietersen on the attack right away. He cuts the fourth ball behind point for a four and then charges down the wicket and lofts the next ball over mid-on for another four, in the 37th over.

In the off-spinner's next over, Pietersen is quick to rock back and hammer a short ball through the covers for another boundary.

Harbhajan has looked quite flat after tea and hardly caused any problems and is duly replaced by Ashwin. Harbhajan conceded 29 runs in his first spell of eight overs and didn't manage even a single maiden over.

Pietersen chips down the track and drives Ojha through the covers for a four to bring up England's 100 in the 42nd over.

In the next over, KP is quick to rock back again and cuts Ashwin through point where Sachin Tendulkar fails to get down to stop the ball and gives away a boundary. Cook then drives a full toss the midwicket region for two runs to bring up his half-century from 134 balls.
