England 1st inns: 224-2 (75.2 ovs) vs India 327

Cook completes his century in superb fashion as he caresses a full delivery from Harbhajan Singh through the covers.

It took him 236 balls, 284 minutes to complete his second century in a row, having hit 11 fours and a six.

England are in complete control now as their score advances to 224 for two in 75.2 overs.

Pietersen looks to lift the ante as he gives Ojha and calmly lofts him back over mid-on for a boundary. In his next over, Ojha drops it short and wide and Pietersen helps himself to a boundary through the off-side.

Pietersen is keen to get things going here. He plays the paddle sweep against Ashwin for two runs on the fine leg region and then hammers a full ball through the covers for a four. The right-hander steers the last ball of that over to point for a couple to bring up the 150-run partnership for the third wicket with Cook.
