England 1st inns: 298-4 (94.3 ovs) vs India 327

England are just 29 runs behind India's first inning score. They will need Pietersen to last atleast till the tea break as they aim to score around the 500-run mark and look to bat India out of the match.

India's only hope is if England's lower order collapses immediately after lunch else they have another long session coming up.

Ashwin finally managed a wicket when he got Cook out for figures of one for 105 in 33 overs, while Ojha claimed three for 95 in 29.3 overs.

Harbhajan Singh was the most disappointing Indian bowler, giving away 67 runs in 18 overs without making any impression at all with the bat and was rightly not used much by Dhoni.
