India crumble on a spinning wicket
November 25, 2012  17:00
What a thrilling day of Test cricket. Kevin Pietersen's sizzling innings of 186 combined with Alastair Cook's gutsy innings of 122 put England in the driving seat despite a few quick wickets in the end.

Monty Panesar rocked the Indians once again with a five-wicket haul.

The day belonged to England as 352 runs were scored in 89.3 overs for the loss of 15 wickets.

The wicket was made to suit India who won the toss but England showed great resolve to turn things in their favour. In short, India fell in their own trap!

A lot of question marks now against the Indian team. Tendulkar's form has been a cause of concern for the hosts, while Dhoni's captaincy has also come under a lot of criticism. The form of R Ashwin must be analysed for he has unable to make the desired impact with the ball and Harbhajan fared no better on his comeback.

This Test match is as good as gone, but India need to come up with solutions for the next Test in Kolkata!
