Mukund slams fifty against England in warm-up match

The latest from the CCI is that opener Abhinav Mukund slams a quickfire half-century to lift India A against England XI.

Mukund brings up his fifty in style as he cuts Graeme Swann for a boundary behind point. He completed his half-century from from 57 balls, hitting 12 fours in total.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh was dropped off the first ball by Samit Patel at square leg off Bresnan in the 16th over.

He has come out with a positive intent and has hit two cracking boundaries early.

Mukund has also changed gears in the last few overs and has raced to 65 from 62 balls, having hit 15 boundaries so far.

Bresnan was hit for four boundaries in his sixth over with Mukund getting three of them and Yuvraj driving the fourth four back past the bowler.

Bresnan took one for 26 in six overs before he is replaced by James Anderson.
