Live World T20: Gayle's ninth T20 fifty puts WI on top
September 27, 2012  20:53
Scorecard:

West Indies accumulate 47 without loss at the end of the powerplay period.

Graeme Swann is introduced into the attack in the seventh over, replacing Finn (3-0-14-0). Six runs come off the spinner's first over with Charles finding the fence.

It's twin spin for England with Samit Patel replacing Broad (2-0-16-0) at the other end. Gayle helps himself to three sixes in the over. That makes the Windies batsman the third player to hit 50 sixes in t20 after Brendon McCullum and Shane Watson.

Swann's second over is an expensive one, 18 coming off it with Charles helping himself to a couple of sixes.

Gayle completes his ninth T20 fifty in the next over to join McCullum.

West Indies 95 without loss after 10 overs.
