New Zealand need 14 runs to win the tied match in the Super Over with just two wickets in hand.

The next ball is a low full toss and Guptill gets an inside edge for a single.

3 Brendon McCullum is on strike and he gives Malinga the charge but is beaten and even wicketkeeper Sangakkara is beaten to give away two byes. 9 from 3.

4 Malinga bowls another good delivery, full and swinging away from the batsman. McCullum gets an outside edge but again Sangakkara drops it and also gives away a run. 8 from 2.

5 Guptill then lofts Malinga down the ground. It goes high but does not go all the way and it is caught by Dilshan on the long-off boundary. 8 from 1. SL are done with this it looks like.

6 The result is just a formality now unless Malinga bowls a wide or no-ball. The last ball is full on the pads and McCullum gets an inside edge as it goes behind the wicket to give SL victory.
