Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their Indian Premier League match at Ferozshah Kotla on Friday.

It is the first time that the team from Delhi has won the toss in this edition.

"It looks a good wicket but might slow down later on," reasons captain Mahela Jayawardene. His opposite number, Kumar Sangakkara, concurs. 

"I's looking forward to bat as well," he says.
