Kohli the key now as RCB were 130-4 after 17 overs. The hosts require 23 from 18 balls.

Kohli is on 62, along with Arun Karthik who is on 1.

Yadav tries to test Kohli with a bouncer, but the RCB skipper is equal to the task, dispatching it towards square leg boundary. 

This is good counter-attacking cricket from RCB as the hosts were 84-2 after 10 overs. 

Kohli is on 32, while De Villiers is on 25.

Attempted yorker from Yadav gets AB de Villiers single with the help of a French Cut -- 50 up for RCB.

Royal Challengers have started off on a positive note chasing 153 for victory. Chris Gayle and Lokesh Rahul have hit the boundary boards early. 

But having said that, Rahul also had a stroke of luck when he survived a LBW appeal. 

But Rahul couldn't last long as he top edged one to Jayawardene for 12.

A disciplined bowling performance from Royal Challengers Bangalore means Delhi have finished with 152-5 at the end of 20 overs.

None of the Delhi batsmen could really get going after the openers put on 42 runs opening stand.

Vinay Kumar provided the initial breakthrough by picking the wicket of David Warner, brilliantly caught off his own bowling. 

Sehwag looking good couldn't carry through as he give a simple catch to Virat Kohli at midwicket.

Juneja looking to smoke one out of the park, was undone by the bounce on the wicket and ended up giving a simple catch to Vinay Kumar for 17.

RCB has pulled back things really well. Jayawardene slaps one through the offside for a single off the fourth ball of the over.

Rampaul continues for his second over. The previous over from RP Singh was a good one for Delhi as Warner, Sehwag plundered 15 runs.

First up is a ball on Sehwag's pads as Delhi opener clipped one through square leg for three runs. 

A wild slog from Warner gets him a single. Sehwag creams one through off side but straight to the fielder -- no run. 

Rampaul bowls a good bouncer -- testing Sehwag. A single to third man rounds up the over as Delhi were 21-0 after 3 overs.

First up a good delivery right on the mark -- swinging in to the left handed Warner. 

Surprising to see RCB playing 4 seamers on Bangalore track.

First three delivery from Rampaul has been right on the mark, not giving Warner the width. 

Another one on the pads, this time Warner steals a leg-bye. Good delivery to end the over as Delhi were 1-0 after the first over.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has won the toss and elected to bowl against Delhi Daredevils in the 21st match of the Indian Premier League in Bangalore, on Tuesday.

Bangalore have made a few changes to their team, bringing in Andrew McDonald for Dan Christian and Jaidev Unadkat for Murali Kartik.

Youngster Lokesh Rahul will open the innings after Mayank Agarwal missed out because of injury.

Delhi have also made a couple of changes. Ashish Nehra and Ben Rohrer replace Siddharth Kaul and Johan Botha respectively.

PUNJAB WIN BY 4 RUNS!!!

Kolkata 153-9 (20 overs) vs Punjab 157-9

Gambhir's wicket was the turning point as Punjab bowlers kept chipping away at the wickets to steal an unlikely victory.

KKR were cruising at 106 for two after 13 overs before Gony claimed the wicket of Gambhir to script the turnaround.

Mahmood was the best bowler, claiming three for 21, while Kumar took two for 26 and Awana got two for 39.

Gony contributed with useful performances with both bat and ball. He smashed 42 from 18 balls to take Punjab to 157 and then claimed one for 18, while giving away just two runs in his final two overs.

PUNJAB WIN BY 4 RUNS!!!

Kolkata 153-9 (20 overs) vs Punjab 157-9

Praveen Kumar to bowl the final over and facing him will be Yusuf.

He starts with a big wide down the leg side as Gilchrist does well to dive down the leg side and save some runs.

The next ball is full and hits Yusuf on the pads but the LBW appeal is turned down by the umpire as they complete two runs.

Praveen then bowls a low full toss which Yusuf tries to flick on the leg side but is brilliantly caught by Miller at deep midwicket after a struggling knock of 13 from 16 balls.

8 needed from 4 balls.

Senanayake drives the next delivery on the off-side but gets only a single as the cover fielder stops it.

Sunil Narine will take strike now as Gilchrist and Mahmood have a long chat with Praveen Kumar. 7 needed from 3 balls.

Narine hits a low full toss on the off-side for one.

Senanayake is beaten by the slower ball as Narine calls him for a bye but it results in a run out. Gilchrist is quick to pass the ball back to Praveen who collects it quickly and throws down the stumps to run out Senanayake for one.

6 needed from the last ball for victory.

Praveen tries the slower bouncer which Narine lets go as umpire Simon Taufel calls a wide for height.

He bowls a full delivery which Narine tries to hit on the leg side but misses as Punjab emerge the winners.

Awana continues to bounce Yusuf who top edges the pull shot for a boundary over the wicketkeeper. The next ball is again short and Yusuf mistimes the pull for a single on the leg side.

Awana pitches one up and Bhatia lofts it high into the stands over long-on for a six. 19 needed from 9 balls.

As expected Awana shortens his length and Bhatia also mistimes the pull but has enough time in hand to run across for two runs.

Awana tries another short ball and Bhatia is waiting for it and calmly whips it over midwicket for another six. 11 needed from 7 balls.

However, Awana keeps his team in the hunt with the wicket of Bhatia, who drags it back on to his stumps to be bowled after an useful innings of 16 from six balls.

Awana was hit for 19 runs in that over as Bhatia slammed for two sixes to keep his team in the hunt with 11 needed from the last over.

Mahmood is back as KKR require 35 from three overs for victory.

As expected the first ball is short and Yusuf pulls it fine leg for a single.

And Mahmood strikes with the next delivery with the wicket of Das, who is trapped leg before wicket for one. The right-hander missed an incoming delivery and was struck right in front of the stumps.

Rajat Bhatia plays the first ball on the leg side for a single to give the strike back to Yusuf.

Mahmood gets the yorker on target to Yusuf who hits it down to long-on for just a single. Bhatia then pulls a short ball to deep midwicket for another single.

Yusuf is struggling to time the ball as he hits a full toss down to long-off for just one.

Mahmood gives away just five runs in that over to finish with splendid figures of three for 21 in four overs.

Awana is back and he starts with the wicket of Tiwary, who is bowled for one. He bowls a short delivery which doesn't bounce much and Tiwary misses with the pull to be bowled for one from seven balls.

Since Gambhir has got out, only 11 runs have come from 20 balls.

New batsman Debabrata Das defends the first ball before taking a single on the leg side.

Yusuf's struggle continues as he misses with another pull shot and he is yet to score from seven balls.

He breaks the shackles as he smashes it over mid-off for a boundary to get off the mark before pulling the last ball to deep midwicket for one.

The struggling Yusuf Pathan plays three dot balls against Gony as the equation gets down to 42 from 27 balls.

Gony then sprays a wide down the leg side as he tries a bouncer against Yusuf.

Gony then beats Yusuf with the outswinger which the right-hander tries to play but misses. The next delivery is a bit wider and again moves away as Yusuf throws his bat at it but again fails to connect.

He bowls a clever slow bouncer to Yusuf who lets it go and asks for a wide but umpire Simon Taufel calls it a over.

Gony has single-handedly brought Punjab back into the contest with the ball. He has conceded just a wide each in his last two overs to finish with good figures of one for 18 in four overs.

KKR now need 41 from four overs for victory.

The experienced Mahmood is back in the attack. He starts with a wide down the leg side to Morgan who then taps the next ball to point for one.

Tiwary also takes one from the next delivery and Morgan then chips down the track and hits it over midwicket for a couple.

Morgan then uses his wrists to good effect as he flicks it wide of the fielder at deep midwicket for a boundary. He tries to repeat the shot two balls later but this time he is early into the shot and gets a leading edge to be caught by Hussey on the off-side.

Morgan is dismissed for 47 from 38 balls as KKR are reduced to 116 for four in 15 overs, needing 42 from five overs for victory.

Gony gets the big wicket of Gambhir in his third over as he gets the left-hander caught behind for a good innings of 60 from 39 balls.

The KKR captain tried to drive it through the off-side but could only get the edge to end a good partnership of 105 runs from 11.5 overs for the third wicket.

New batsman Manoj Tiwary has three dot balls in a row before he charges down the track and tries to loft it through the off-side but is beaten. That was an unnecessary shot under the circumstances and Morgan comes over and has a chat to him.

Gony misses on bowling out a maiden over as he bowls a wide down the leg side.

A brilliant over from Gony, giving away just one run and he also took the wicket of Gambhir to peg back KKR.

Kolkata need 51 from six overs for victory.

Gambhir clips Gony on the leg side for a couple to bring up his half-century, his third in a row as KKR look to be cruising with the bat. This is his 19th fifty in the IPL, the most by any batsman so far.

Gony concedes further three singles in that over giving away just five runs.

Gambhir is on 53 from 34 balls, having hit eight fours, while Morgan is on 38 from 31 balls with the duo having added 96 runs in 10.4 overs for the third wicket so far.

KKR now need 61 runs from eight overs for victory.

Manvinder Bisla falls off the first delivery of the innings, caught behind off pacer Praveen Kumar.

Bisla went after a wide delivery but ended up getting an edge which was initially fumbled by Mahmood at first slip but Gilchrist was aware to the situation and took the rebound.

New batsman Jacques Kallis defended the first three balls before he flicked it uppishly to fine leg for a single.

Gautam Gambhir charged down the wicket off the first ball he faced but was beaten.

What a superb recovery from Punjab! They were reeling at 109 for seven after 16 overs before Gony's entertaining innings of 42 from just 18 balls helped the hosts score 48 runs from the last four overs to finish on a competitive 157 for nine.

Kallis emerged as Kolkata's best bowler yet again, taking three for 24, while Narine, who claimed a hat-trick finished with three for 23 after Gony had hit him for 23 runs in his last over.

Kallis to bowl the final over. He starts with the wicket of Gony, who is bowled after a superb cameo of 42 from 18 balls to guide Punjab out of trouble following Narine's hat-trick. He tries to pull it over the leg side but gets an inside edge back on to his stumps.

Praveen Kumar gets a single from the next delivery and Chawla mistimes the pull for another single on the leg side.

Kallis then gets another wicket in his next over. Kumar tries to loft it over the off-side but ends up chipping it to Yusuf in the covers to be out for one.

A superb final over from Kallis so far, two runs and two wickets in four balls.

Chawla makes most of a full toss as he whips it through midwicket for a four. The last ball is a slower delivery as Chawla is foxed but they steal a bye.

Piyush Chawla lofts the first ball from Narine over midwicket for a four before he bowls a wide on the off-side followed by a single.

Gony continues his assault as he carts a full delivery from Narine high over long-on for a six. Gony is turning it on as he pulls the next delivery over midwicket for a boundary to race to 35 from just 15 balls.

Gony is taking Narine to the cleaners as he pulls the fifth ball over midwicket for his third six of the innings. The last ball is a full toss which Gony drives to long-on for one to move to 42 from just 17 balls, having hit four fours and three sixes.

Narine concedes 23 runs in his final over to finish with three for 33 in four overs.

Punjab have scored 38 runs in the last two overs to reach 150 for seven in 19 overs.

Balaji comes back and Gony heaves the first ball over the leg side for a huge six. Gony hits the next ball to Gambhir who has a go at the stumps at the non-striker's end but gives away an overthrow.

Gony is foxed by the slower ball as he tries for another big shot but he slaps the last ball powerfully back past the bowler for a boundary.

Balaji then bowls the slow bouncer which beats Gony before his next slower ball goes astray and is called a wide.

Gony spoons the last ball high in the air towards long-on where misunderstanding between the fielder at long-on and deep midwicket sees the ball fall right between them.

15 runs from that over as Gony races to 25 from 13 balls.

Narine will continue after taking a hat-trick in his previous over. Gony takes one on the off-side and Piyush Chawla steers it to thirdman fielder inside the circle for one.

Narine then tries the carrom ball which Gony edges to the fielder at short thirdman before flicking the next to long-on for one.

Chawla hits the last ball back the bowler as Narine concedes just three runs in that over.

His figures now read three for 10 in three overs.

Senanayake comes back to bowl his fourth and final over. Miller drives the first ball to long-on for one to bring up Punjab's 100.

Manpreet Gony tries to play it through the leg side but gets a thick outside edge through the vacant thirdman region for a four. Senanayake drops one short and Gony pulls it through midwicket for the second boundary of the over before taking a single to the covers.

Senanayake ends his spell with the wicket of Miller, who also fails to read the carrom delivery and is bowled for 20 from 17 balls.

Narine comes back as Miller tries to slog sweep but gets a top edge to the fine leg region for a couple before he takes one.

Narine then strikes with the wicket of Hussey, who tries to play the cut shot but is beaten by the extra bounce as he edges it and is caught by wicketkeeper Bisla after scoring 12.

Narine makes it two in a row with the wicket of Azhar Mahmood. the right-hander looks to tap it on the leg side but gets a leading edge to offer a simple catch back to the bowler.

Narine completes the hat-trick with a beauty. Gurkeerat Singh is beaten all ends up by the carrom ball that goes the other way to beat his defences and strike the middle stump.

Bhatia will finish off his spell. Hussey turns the first ball to short fine leg for one. Miller pulls the second ball powerfully through midwicket for a four as Bhatia drops one short before taking one to long-off.

Good running between the wickets by the duo as Hussey flicks it on the leg side and they scamper across for two.

The fifth ball is driven down to long-on for one and Miller edges the last ball to short thirdman for another single.

Bhatia concedes 10 runs in that over to finish with his spell of four overs, giving away 30 runs.

Miller defends the fifth ball before turning the last ball to the leg side for a couple to get eight runs from that over.

Punjab have scored 16 runs from the last three overs to reach 86 for three in 13 overs.

Bhatia to bowl his third over on the trot. Left-hander Miller gets an inside edge off the first ball which goes on the leg side for one and Hussey gets one from the next ball through extra cover.

Balaji comes back and Mandeep pulls the first ball which is short in length through midwicket for a boundary. He plays the next ball to thirdman where Narine misfields to give away two runs.

Balaji then tries a short delivery which Vohra looks to pull but gets a top edge and is caught by the bowler himself.

Vohra falls for 17 after putting on 37 runs in 4.5 overs for the second wicket with Mandeep.

New batsman David Hussey takes one to get off the mark and Mandeep ends the over with a single.

And now Sunil Narine comes on from the other end. New batsman Manan Vohra is beaten by the carrom delivery that held it's line and went straight past the edge of the bat. But the youngster lofted the fourth ball straight down the ground for a four before Narine beats him again with the carrom ball.

Mystery spinner Sachithra Senanayake into the attack now. Mandeep drives the first ball on the leg side for one and Gilchrist flicks the next to midwicket for another single.

Mandeep is then beaten as he tried to play the cut but missed before jumping down the track and hitting it on the bounce to long-on for one.

Senanayake then claimed the first breakthrough with the wicket of Gilchrist, who is trapped leg before wicket for seven.

The Punjab captain was done in by the carrom ball that came in as Gilchrist played back and across but missed to be dismissed LBW.

Punjab break the shackles in the third over as they hit Balaji for three boundaries.

Gilchrist hammers a short delivery through the covers for his first four and Mandeep flicks the fourth and fifth delivery for consecutive boundaries.

The experienced Jacques Kallis to bowl the second over. Mandeep lets the first ball go through before he tries to pull the next but gets an inside edge which goes on the bounce to the keeper.

Mandeep then slaps the third ball between mid-on and the bowler for the first boundary of the innings. Yusuf then misfields at midwicket while he talks to the TV commentators and lets off a single and Adam Gilchrist takes one from the first ball to get off the mark.

Lakshmipathy Balaji to bowl the first over and facing him is Punjab captain Adam Gilchrist with Mandeep Singh at the other end.

Balaji starts with a wide down the leg side and the next one goes down the leg side too but this the umpire lets it go. Gilchrist defends the next ball before trying to smash the fifth ball but it is stopped at point and the last ball also goes to the same region.

A good start from Balaji, conceding just one run.

Yuvraj had missed out on Pune's shock victory over two-time winners Chennai Super Kings on Monday night.
