It's three bowling changes in three overs for Mumbai, Munaf Patel coming in to bowl the third over.

Sehwag continues with his aggression, getting a boundary over cover in Bumrah's second over followed by a six over long-on.

Jayawardene hits a boundary of the last ball to ensure 17 runs come off it. Another boundary in the first ball of Munaf's second over makes Sehwag the most boundary hitter in the tournament. He celebrates the landmark with another.

18:00

Mahela Jayawardene to open the batting with Virender Sehwag for Delhi and it will be Lasith Malinga to start the proceedings for Mumbai. Just two runs from the over.

However, Mahela gets a boundary off the last ball.

Delhi 10 for no loss after two overs.
17:34
Scorecard:

Agarkar is back into the attack in the 18th over. He has been expensive today. And it gets worse for him, Rohit smashing the third ball for a huge six over midwicket and the fifth for another six.

Agarkar has gone for 37 in his three overs. That's unpardonable.

Yadav's last over is an expensive one, costing Delhi 14 runs. However, he has the last laugh, having Rohit (73) caught by Andre Russell. He ends with figures of two for 31.

Rohit's 43-ball innings was inclusive of five boundaries and an equal number of sixes.

However, Rohit survives a run out attempt by Warner. The 15th over by Irfan helps the visitors get past the 100-run mark.

Two boundaries in the over helps Rohit reach his 17th IPL fifty.

Mumbai 107 for two after 15 overs. Time for the second strategic timeout.
16:41
Scorecard:

Ajit Agarkar replaces Irfan (3-0-13-0) in the attack in the seventh over. It's an expensive first over from the bowler, 11 runs coming off it with Tendulkar hitting the fifth ball for a six.

Nadeem bowls the eighth over and gives away eight runs, Tendulkar hitting the third ball to the fence.

Van der Merwe to bowl the ninth over, so Mahela is continuing with his bowling changes. Rohit smashes the fifth ball for a six, the shot helping the visitors get past the 50-run mark.

Mumbai 53 for two after nine overs. Time for the first strategic time-out.
16:28

Irfan to continue with a third straight over. He has got off to a really good start with the ball.

However, the idea backfires this time, Irfan conceding 10 runs, with Tendulkar getting nine off them.

Umesh Yadav into the attack in the sixth over and runs out Karthik (2) in the follow through of his first ball.

Rohit Sharma in at No.4. No Ponting yet. Surprising?

16:16

Irfan's second over is also a good one, just one run coming off it.

Roelef van der Merwe replaces Nadeem in the attack in the fourth over. Smith welcomes him with a boundary first ball over mid-off.

The bowler though hits back in the second ball, having Smith (8) caught by Umesh Yadav.

16:07

Sachin Tendulkar and Dwayne Smith open the batting for Mumbai while it will be Irfan Pathan starting the proceedings for Delhi.

So captain Ricky Ponting has dropped himself down the order in a bid to get some form. A smart decision for sure. Just two runs from the first over.

Shahbaz Nadeem to share the new ball. He gives away four runs.

Mumbai six without loss after two overs.
15:36
Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat first in their Indian premier League match against Delhi Daredevils at the Ferozshah Kotla on Sunday.

"Looks like a good surface and the ball will skid on," reasoned captain Ricky Ponting. His captain, Mahela Jayawardene, concurred.

"We would have batted first as well. The wickets will slow down," he said.
