England 145-0 (25 overs) vs India

Cook and Bell have put on a record opening stand for England against India in ODIs beating the record of 133 put on by Chris Tavare and Barry Wood in 1982.

Dinda oversteps off the fourth delivery to give a no-ball and also a free hit. But Dinda bowls a good yorker and Bell can drive the free hit down the ground to long-on for one.

Cook then turns it on the leg side past the short fine leg fielder for two runs but to Dinda's horror he has overstepped again to gift England another free hit.

At the halfway stage, England are 145 for no loss with Cook on 66 from as many balls and Bell on 74 from 86 balls.
