Tri Series: Rain pushes the game to reserve day

Persistant rain has ensured that the game will move to the reserve day on Monday.

Rain has stopped play here at Port of Spain with Sri Lanka at 60-3 from 19 overs.

Sangakkara and Thirimanne have added 31 runs for the fourth wicket after they were reeling at 29-3. 

Sangakkara is on 11, while Thirimanne is on 13.

Kumar Sangakkara and Lahiru Thirimanne look to steady the ship for Sri Lanka after they were reeling at 29-3 at one stage. 

The southpaws have been dealing mainly in singles as the West Indies bowling has been tight with the pacers not allowing them to break free. 

Sri Lanka reached their 50 in the 15th over with a single off Tino Best. 

At the end of 16 overs, Sri Lanka were 50-3. Sangakkara is on 7, while Thirimanne is on 10.

Kemar Roach strikes again for West Indies as he had Dinesh Chandimal walking back to the pavillion for two.

Poor shot from Chandimal as he played one away from the body as he gets an inside edge back on to the stumps. 

At the end of 8 overs, Sri Lanka were 31-3.

Jason Holder strikes early for West Indies as he removes Upul Tharanga for 7. 

Tharanga is lured in on a full delivery from Holder as he gets a thickish edge to Darren Bravo in covers. 

Roach then had Mahela Jayawardene walking back after he failed to keep his pull shot down and was caught at point by Smith for 7. 

An unfortunate dismissal as he Jayawardene went for a pull, but the ball hit his helmet and then recotiated to point, where Smith took an easy catch. 

At the end of 5 overs, Sri Lanka were 22-2.

Jason Holder into the attack now after Kemar Roach's first over saw seven runs come from it. 

First up is a swinging delivery outside off-stump -- called wide.

Holder checks his line and length as Mahela Jayawardene lets one go. 

A barrage of outswingers to end the over as Sri Lanka were 8-0 after two overs.

Welcome to the fifth match of the tri-series between West Indies and Sri Lanka here in Port of Spain. 

West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard wins the toss and have elected to bowl first on a dry wicket. 

With Dwayne Bravo banned for the one-day, West Indies were forced to make some changes.

Sunil Narine is out with an injury, while Denesh Ramdin has been dropped for the match. In comes Devon Smith, Jason Holder and Lendl Simons for the hosts. 

Sri Lankan's too have made some changes to their side with Jeevan Mendis and Shaminda Eranga coming in for Kushal Perera and Rangana Herath.
