Cricket updates! Kohli, Raina help India clinch series

A boundary of Chinouya helps Kohli complete his 24th ODI fifty. He celebrates the same with a huge six in the same over. 

In the 36th over, a couple by Kohli (68 not out) helps raise the 50-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

In the same over, a boundary from Raina (28 not out) in the same over India score a comprehensive seven-wicket win, with 87 balls to spare. 

India has now taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.

Brian Vitori is brought back into the attack in the 29th over. He strikes with the first ball off his second over of the spell, catching Rayudu (33) off his own bowling. 

Rayudu's 54-ball knock was inclusive of two boundaries and he helped his captain add 64 runs (in 16 overs) for the third wicket.

Suresh Raina joins Kohli at the crease, with India in sight of a series-clinching win.

Prosper Utseya has meanwhile, ended what can be termed an economic spell (10-0-41-0).

Elton Chigumbura replaces Chatara (7-1-26-1) in the attack in the 23rd over. India get past the 100-run mark in the over that costs Zimbabwe 12 runs. 

Kohli and Rayudu, meanwhile, are combining well for the third wicket, having added more than 50 runs thus far.

Dhawan and Kohli add 40 runs for the second wicket before Chatara has the former caught by Sibanda at short cover. 

Dhawan's 32-ball 35 was inclusive of five hits to the fence. Ambati Rayudu has come out to join his captain at the crease.

Captain Virat Kohli comes in to join Shikhar Dhawan at the crease. The latter hits successive boundaries off Vitori to ease the pressure. 

Tendai Chatara replaces Vitori (4-0-25-0) in the attack in the ninth over. Kohli welcomes him with a boundary towards deep backward square-leg. Three balls later, Dhawan also finds the fence.

The first boundary of the Indian innings comes in the first ball of Vitori's second over, Dhawan's edge going past second slip.

Amit Mishra replaces Vinay Kumar (7-0-32-1) in the attack in the 42nd over. He strikes with his final ball, having Vitori (17) caught behind.

Vitori's 26-ball knock was inclusive of two boundaries and a six and he helped Chatara add 34 runs (off 43 balls) for the ninth wicket. 

Mishra ends a successful spell (10-0-47-4) by getting past Tendai Chatara's (23) defence.

Zimbabwe dismissed for 183 with four overs of their innings yet to be bowled.

All of Zimbabwe's hopes of a decent total go up in smoke with Seam Williams' dismissal. 

Williams is run out for 45, ahead of the batting powerplay, and the home team can expect little now. 

Amit Mishra to start the batting powerplay. Brian Vitori hits the fourth ball for a huge six over long-off even as eight runs come off the over. 

Ravindra Jadeja to bowl the second powerplay over. He gives away three wides. However, he ends up with impressive figures (10-2-39-1). 

Zimbabwe manage 23 runs in the batting powerplay. More importantly, they don't lose a wicket.

Utseya smashes the first ball of Jadeja's seventh over to the fence to help Zimbabwe get past the 100-run mark. 

Two balls later, Williams smashes a huge six over the square-leg boundary. 

Shami is back into the attack, replacing Mishra (6-0-22-2) in the 33rd over. He strikes with his fourth ball, having Utseya (10) caught behind. 

Utseya's 38-ball innings consisted of just one boundary but he helped Williams add 36 runs for the seventh wicket.

Unadkat replaces his captain at the other end. The move works as the bowler strikes in his third over, having Taylor (23) caught by Shami at mid-off. 

The Zimbabwean captain's 44-ball knock was inclusive of three boundaries and he helped Masakadza add 65 runs (off 86 balls) for the third wicket.

R Vinay Kumar to start the proceedings for India while it will be Vusi Sibanda and Sikandar Raza expectedly open the batting for the home team. 

Sibanda survives a huge appeal in the second ball but doesn't survive the third, spooning a simple catch to Shikhar Dhawan at cover.

Zimbabwe lose their first wicket without a run on board. Hamilton Masakadza comes out to bat earlier than expected.

India won the toss and invited Zimbabwe to bat first in the third one-dayer at Harare on Sunday.

"Conditions will suit the bowlers early on," reasons captain Virat Kohli. 

"Whatever is going to happen will happen in the morning and will get much better to bat on as the day progress," he adds. Brendan Taylor, his opposite number, concurs.

"There'll be something there for the bowlers is the first hour," he says, admitting he would have bowled first as well. 

It is a must win game for Zimbabwe, with India leading the five-match series 2-0.
