Tri-series updates! West Indies restricts India to 229 for seven

Kemar Roach strikes with his final ball, having Raina (44) caught behind. Roach ends with impressive figures (10-2-41-2). 

Raina's 55-ball knock was inclusive of four boundaries and helped his captain add 58 for the fifth wicket. 

Best cleans up Dhoni (27) a few overs later and then also gets through Jadeja's (17) defence. He ends with figures of two for 54. 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar hits a last ball six as 17 runs come off Narine's (10-0-56-0) last over. 

India manage 229 for seven in their stipulated 50 overs.

Sammy has ended with impressive figures of two for 41. Narine to start the batting powerplay. Five runs off the over, with Raina hitting a boundary. 

Nine runs come off the second ober by Roach, with Raina finding the fence again. Just 27 runs come off the batting powerplay but more importantly, India didn't lose a wicket. 

Dhoni and Raina have so far put together more than 50 runs for the fifth wicket.

India 182 for four after 43 overs.

Sammy's eighth over is an expensive one, both boundaries getting a boundaries apiece even as 11 runs come off it. However, he ends on a high as he has Rohit (60) caught by Johnson Charles at long-off. 

Unnecessary shot by Sharma. He has given away on a good start again. 

India 133 for four after 35 overs.

Suresh Raina joins Rohit Sharma at the crease. Windies will have a bowling change, Tino Best replacing Sammy (6-3-17-1). Five runs come off the over, with India reaching the 100-run mark in the same. 

Two overs later, Rohit reaches his 16th ODI fifty, his eighth against West Indies, with a couple off Sammy who is back into the attack.

India 113 for three after 30 overs.

Kieron Pollard replaces Sammy (5-3-11-1) after drinks. He gives away eight runs first up, with Karthik hitting a boundary. 

It's a twin bowling change for West Indies, Sunil Narine coming in for an expensive Tino Best (6-0-38-0) in the 19th over. He gives away four runs.

Spin from both ends in the next over as Marlon Samuels replaces Pollard. He concedes just three runs first up.

Karthik and Sharma add 59 runs for the third wicket but the partnership is ended by a soft dismissal when Karthik (23) hits straight back to Samuels. 

India 98 for three after 26 overs.

Darren Sammy replaces an expensive Best (3-0-26-0) in the attack in the seventh over. The former West Indies captain strikes in his second over, having Virat Kohli (11) caught by Chris Gayle at wide slip. 

Kemar Roach (5-2-12-1) has bowled exceptionally well at the other end.

Dinesh Karthik joins Rohit at the crease. 

India in spot of bother at 39 for two after 10 overs.

Kemar Roach albeit strikes in his third over, catching Dhawan (11) off his own bowling. 

Virat Kohli joins Rohit Sharma at the crease.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan open the batting for India and it will be Kemar Roach first up for the West Indies. It's a maiden. 

Tino Best, in place of Ravi Rampaul, to bowl with the second new ball. His second is a no-ball, the first run for India. Darren Bravo takes a catch off a no-ball even as 12 runs come off the over. 

Dhawan is getting into his stride with a boundary each off Best and Roach.

West Indies won the toss and invited India to bat first in their match at Sabina Park on Sunday.

"We're going to bowl again and give it our best shot," said stand-in captain Kieron Pollard. His opposite number, MS Dhoni, seemed to agree.

"We're also looking to bowl first as the surface is looking a bit dark," he said.
