Malinga ends Kolkata's misery in the next over as he bowls L Balaji with a slower delivery for a duck.

KKR are bowled out for 105 in 18.2 overs to lose by 65 runs.

Harbhajan finishes as the most successful bowler for Mumbai with three for 27, while Ojha (2-23) and Johnson (2-13) claimed two wickets apiece.

All the KKR batsmen struggled to deliver with the bat and kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Defending champions KKR are on the brink of elimination, having lost eight matches out of 12.

Mumbai jump to second in the standings with eight wins out of 12.

After a good start opening stand of 93 runs, Mumbai lost their way in the middle overs as they lost four wickets for 14 runs in the space of eight deliveries.

But Karthik and Johnson hit a few crucial boundaries in the last couple of overs to help Mumbai finish on a high.

Mitchell Johnson takes a single from the first ball of McLaren's last over, also the final over of the innings.

Karthik top edges the pull shot but Narine fails to hold on as he comes in from the fine leg boundary and also concedes a four. Karthik then slams the next ball back over the bowler's head for a six.

Johnson gets two runs to long-off before McLaren bowls a big wide down the leg side to give away five wides. Johnson ends the innings in some style as he hits a straight six to take Mumbai to a huge 170 for six in their 20 overs.

McLaren was hit for 25 runs in his final over to finish with two for 60 in four overs.

Karthik finishes unbeaten on 34 from 18 balls and Johnson made 10 from six balls.

Kieron Pollard hits the fourth ball of that over through midwicket for a boundary but falls off the next delivery. He top edged the pull shot to be caught at fine leg for four.

Mumbai continue to lose their way as Ambati Rayudu is run out off the last ball of that over. He was dismissed without even facing a single delivery as he tried for a second run but was sent back by Karthik.

Tendulkar breaks the shackles in grand style as he slams McLaren for five boundaries in a row to race to 22 from nine balls.

He made it five in a row as he got a thick outside edge from the last ball as it flew past the wicketkeeper.

He lets the next ball go before Balaji beats him with another outswinger and then foxes him with the inswinger which hits him high on the pads.

A good start from Balaji as he begins with a maiden.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and elected to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 53rd match of the Indian Premier League, in Mumbai.

Mumbai made one change to the team that beat Chennai in their previous match as pacer Abu Nechim comes in for left-armer Pawan Suyal, who is ruled out with an injury.

Kolkata dropped mystery spinner Sachithra Senanayake and bring in an extra pacer in Ryan McLaren, while Lakshmipathy Balaji came in for Sumit Narwal.

If Shah Rukh Khan drama was not enough we have some more controversy ahead of the match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai, on Tuesday.

KKR's senior batsman Manoj Tiwary has just posted something controversial on Twitter which is surely going to send the journalists into a frenzy.

"2day is d worst day in my cricketin career .. Never ever gonna digest dis day all my life .." Tiwary wrote on Twitter.

And it seems the right-hander is not at the ground with the rest of the team as they prepare for their key match against Mumbai.

A brilliant unbeaten 63 by Ajinkya Rahane and masterful 53 from Rahul Dravid helped Rajasthan Royals seal a convincing nine-wicket win over the Delhi Daredevils in Jaipur.

Chasing 155 for victory, the openers put on a 108-run stand to kill the contest. Shane Watson came in and bludgeoned his way to 28 off 14 balls to ensure the hosts jump to second spot in the table.

None of Delhi bowlers looked like picking up a wicket with Siddharth Kaul the only bowler picking up the wicket.

Yet another century stand from Rajasthan Royals openers Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane have put the hosts in control of the game. 

Siddharth Kaul in for his third over as Rahane steals a leg bye. 

Dravid drives a full toss from the Kaul for a single. Rahane then punches one to deep cover for another single. 

Dravid then lofts one over the bowlers head looking for a maximum, but can't clear the fielder and is nicely taken in the deep by Ajit Agarkar for 53. 

Rajasthan at the end of 14 overs were 113-1, still requiring 42 runs from 36 balls. 

Rahane is on 49, while Watson is yet to open his account.

Dravid chips down the track and strikes it past the bowler but can't beat the mid-on fielder.

A drive to long on gives Rahane a single. Dravid then tries to hit an inside-out shot but good fielding from Umesh Yadav restricts it just a brace. 

At the end of 11 overs Royals were 85-0. Dravid is on 41, while Rahane is on 34. The hosts still require 70 runs off 54 balls.

Rahane then pushes one to long on for a single.

Dravid rounds off the over with a single towards fine leg. 

Rajasthan were 67-0 after 9 overs. Dravid is on 34, while Rahane is on 24.

A fighting half-century from Ben Rohrer and a vital 21 from Kedar Jadhav have helped Delhi Daredevils post a fighting 154 for four in their 20 overs.

Delhi were reeling at 78-4 at one stage, before the duo came in and put on an unbroken stand of 75 runs stand for the fifth wicket.

Delhi plundered 50 runs in the last four overs to give their total some respectability.

Rohrer remained unbeaten on a good innings 64 off 40 balls, along with Jadhav who was on 23 off 21 balls.

Siddharth Trivedi was the most economical bowler for Rajasthan with figures of 1-21 off his four overs.

Trivedi has the last laugh as he had Jayawardene walking back to the pavillion after he hit straight to Rahul Dravid at midwicket for 34.

First up is a short delivery from Tambe as Warner pulls it for a single.

Tambe to Jayawardene and it's a good delivery from the Mumbaikar. Pitches on good length as Jayawardene defends it with an open face. 

Jayawardene gets to the other end with a single towards long on. Warner then punches one away to mid off as Delhi were 46-2. Jayawardene is on 17, while Warner is on 13.

Tait then pitches one up -- but wide -- as Warner slashes hard -- the ball races past the first slip for his first boundary.

Warner bottom-edges one for a single towards third man. 

Jayawardene then clips one off his pads for the third boundary off the over. 

The Delhi skipper the cuts one past point to help himself to another boundary -- the fourth one of the over.

First up is a half-volley from Faulkner and Sehwag is more than happy to dispatch it for a boundary between mid-on and midwicket.

Sehwag hits the boundary boards once again with a punch towards covers. 

Faulkner finally gets Viru -- done in by a slower one as the Delhi opener went in for a wild slog -- misses the ball much to the dismay of Delhi fans.

Welcome to the live updates of the first match of the day between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils here in Jaipur. 

With temperatures soaring high in 40 degrees, the pressure is on Royals to win the match. Delhi meanwhile can be party spoilers, by denting the opposition's play-off hopes.

Meanwhile the news from the middle is that Delhi Daredevils have won the toss and have elected to bat first. 

Delhi have made six changes to their side, while Royals have made just the two changes.


Morne Morkel and Ben Rohrer return to the side and out goes Jeevan Mendis and Johan Botha. Ajit Agarkar, Pawan Negi, Siddharth Kaul and CM Gautam make the rest of the pack for Delhi.
