IPL updates! Unadkat takes five as Bangalore edge Delhi

Two sixes off the final two balls of Rampaul's penultimate over by Irfan means Delhi need 19 off the last.

Undakat to bowl. Morkel hits the first ball to the fence. Irfan gets a boundary off the third. Unadkat cleans up Morkel (19) off the fifth to complete a five-wicket haul. 

Morkel's 10-ball knock was inclusive of three boundaries and he helped Irfan (23 not out) add 44 runs for the seventh wicket. 

Delhi manage 179 for seven in their 20 overs to lose at Kotla for the fifth time in six games this season. 

Bangalore win by four wickets.

The final five overs has Delhi needing 60. The next two though yield only 11 runs. 

Unmukt Chand (41) perishes in an attempt to step up the run rate, caught by Vinay Kumar at long-on, giving Unadkat his third wicket. 

Two balls later, Unadkat gets his fourth wicket, having Jadhav (8) caught by Vinay Kumar at long-on.

A couple by Rohrer off Rampaul helps raise the 50-run mark for the fourth wicket for the home team. 

R Vinay Kumar albeit provides Bangalore a much needed breakthrough in his third over, the 15th of the innings, cleaning up Rohrer (32). It's his 20th wicket of the campaign.

Rohrer's 27-ball knock was inclusive of four boundaries and he helped Unmukt add 58 runs for the fourth wicket.

Delhi 124 for four after 14 overs. Time for the second strategic timeout.

David Warner, the captain on the day, comes out to join Unmukt at the crease. 

Henriques into the attack in the seventh over, and after conceding a six to Unmukt and a boundary to Warner, cleans up the latter with his fifth. 

Ben Rohrer replaces his captain at the crease. Syed Mohammad's first over costs Bangalore 20 runs, Rohrer hitting three straight boundaries.

The Australian and Unmukt are putting up a decent partnership for the fourth wicket.

It's a twin bowling change for Bangalore, R Vinay Kumar replacing Rampaul (2-0-16-0) in the attack. Chand, having survived an appeal off the first ball, hits the second for a boundary. 

Sehwag also hits three successive boundaries in the over as 17 runs come off the over. 

Unadkat strikes again in his second over, having Sehwag (18) caught by Chetweshwar Pujara at mid-on.

Delhi 49 for one after six overs.

Jayawardene continues his onslaught in Rampaul's second over, hitting successive boundaries off the first two balls. 

Jaidev Unadkat replaces Henriques (1-0-9-0) in the attack in the fourth over and strikes first ball, cleaning up Jayawardene (19). 

Unmukt Chand comes in to join Sehwag at the crease.

Mahela Jayawardene and Virender Sehwag open the batting for Delhi and it will be Ravi Rampaul first up for Bangalore. Seven runs come off the first over, with Sehwag hitting a boundary but getting hit twice with short pitched deliveries. 

Moises Henriques to share the new ball and Jayawardene welcomes him with successive boundaries. 

Delhi 16 without loss after two overs.

The penultimate over to be bowled by Kaul. De Villiers scores 11 runs in the over, including two boundaries. 

Umesh Yadav to bowl the final over. Kohli scores 23 runs in the over, including two fours and two sixes, and is run out off the final ball tring to reach his 100. 

Kohli's 58-ball 99 was inclusive of 10 boundaries and four sixes and put on 94 runs (in just 40 balls) for the fourth wicket with AB de Villiers (32 not out).

Bangalore pile up a whopping 183 for four in their stipulated 20 overs.

Irfan Pathan (4-0-24-1) and Shahbaz Nadeem (4-0-23-1) have done a good job with the ball for Delhi.

A single by De Villiers off Kaul helps RCB get to the 100-run mark, in the first ball after the second strategic timeout. 

Morkel's final over (17th of the innings) is an expensive one, De Villiers smashing the first ball for a six over fine-leg and Kohli also hitting two boundaries in the over, the first of which helps the RCB captain reach his 12th IPL fifty. 

The South African concedes 18 runs in the over to finish with figures of none for 35. The 18th over, by Umesh Yadav, has both De Villiers and Kohli hotting sixes to help raise the 50-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

Bangalore 148 for three after 18 overs.

Shahbaz Nadeem provides Delhi a vital breakthrough in his final over, the 14th of the innings, catching Moises Henriques (26) off his own bowling. 

Henriques' 22-ball knock was inclusive of three boundaries and he helped his captain add 57 runs for the third wicket. 

AB de Villiers comes in to the crease. 

Bangalore 92 for three after 14 overs.

Virat Kohli comes out to bat and is lucky to survive as Morne Morkel has him caught behind only for it to be called a no-ball. 

Sidhharth Kaul replaces Morkel (2-0-11-0) in the attack in the fifth over. Both Kohli andf Pujara get boundaries in the over but Kaul has the last laugh, cleaning up Pujara (17) off his last ball.

Bangalore 32 for two after five overs.

Chris Gayle and Cheteshwar Pujara open the batting for Bangalore and it will be Morne Morkel first up for the Delhi team. Just one run from the over. 

Irfan Pathan to share the new ball. Gayle smashes the fifth ball to the fence but plays on in the next.

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and invited Royal Challengers Bangalore to bat first in their Indian Premier League match at Ferozshah Kotla.

David Warner is captaining Delhi today. 

"We like to chase," he said. His opposite Number, Virat Kohli, agreed.

"I'd have liked to chase as well but I don't think it is a bad toss to loss," said Kohli.
