Lastman Xavier Doherty comes in to bat as Shami comes in to bowl the 46th over.

The first ball is a full toss which Faulkner hits on the leg side but Dhawan comes up with a superb catch at deep midwicket, running to his right and completing a great catch.

Faulkner is dismissed for a brilliant knock of 116 from 73 balls, hitting 11 fours and six sixes.

Australia are bowled out for 326 in 45.1 overs to lose by 57 runs. India win the series 3-2 with two matches rained off in Ranchi and Cuttack.

Australia need 91 from 12 overs for victory and with Faulkner playing some excellent shots, there is still a chance for visitors.

Faulkner hits Jadeja for a single to the covers for one to bring up his century from 57 balls, the fastest by an Australian in ODIs. The previous record belonged to Matthew Hayden, who had made his hundred from 66 balls.

McKay joins the party as he hits the ball through covers for his first boundary.

Australia get five from that over. They are still in the hunt with 86 needed from 11 overs for victory and Faulkner batting on a century.

The next ball is full but Faulkner still manages to beat mid-off for another boundary.

Australia still in with a chance with 100 needed from 75 balls for victory.

Vinay is struggling as he drops one short which Faulkner pulls over midwicket for a six.

Faulkner hits Vinay through the off-side for two runs which brings up Vinay's 100 from 8.5 overs.

Faulkner takes a single from the last ball to move to 99 from 56 balls and with one hit away from the fastest hundred by an Australian in ODIs.

Faulkner then slaps a full toss down the ground to long-off for just a single. McKay then gets another single for his second run before Faulkner gets another single to retain strike.

Ashwin finishes with good figures of two for 51 in 10 overs in a match where it rained boundaries.

Watson and Jadeja had some exchange of words as he made his way back, while Kohli got into a spat with Faulkner. As they say...it's all happening out there!

Watson in line to equal Sanath Jayasuriya's record of fastest ODI fifty from 17 balls. He needs nine runs from the next two balls to match the feat but Ashwin beats him with a yorker. He can't get the next ball away as Watson looks to pull but mistimes the shot.

Watson hits the last ball very hard as Ashwin gets a hand on it but can't stop it cleanly for a single to mid-off.

Faulkner takes a single to the cover region, while Watson gets one to long-on not before he had an exchange of words with Dhawan. Infact, Dhawan mocked him on his injury and clearly Watson is not impressed.

Australia continue to slip as Bailey is run out in bizzare circumstances. Bailey played it on the leg side and called his partner Haddin for a second run. While going back Bailey was looking back to make sure that Haddin made his crease but he himself was caught short as bowler Vinay showed great presence of mind to send a quick throw back to Dhoni, who whipped off the bails in time.

Australia's best batsmen of the series Bailey walks back in his disbelief as he is run out for four to leave his team in deep trouble at 69 for three.

Ashwin has an appeal for LBW turned down against Bailey off the first ball and is beaten off the next ball as it goes straight on.

Bailey then plays the sweep for a single.

Another good over as Ashwin concedes just two runs in that over.

Australia are 68 for two in 15 overs, needing 316 runs in 35 overs at an asking rate of over nine.

He was hit in front of middle stump and the full delivery looked set to hit the leg stump, so a good decision from the umpire.

Brad Haddin walks in at No. 3 in place of Shane Watson. Haddin can only defend the rest of the over as Shami makes a good start, taking a wicket in his first over, while giving just one.

Aaron Finch starts the innings in a hurry as he crashes the first ball through the covers for a boundary. Dhawan made a good effort on the ropes but could not pull the ball back.

Finch and Phil Hughes took a single each as six runs came from the first over, bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Unbelievable batting by the Indians in the last few overs. They scored a mammoth 100 runs in the last five overs, while losing just one wicket in the process. Infact, in the last 10 runs they smashed as many as 161 runs to leave the Aussies stunned.

Rohit played a special innings of 209 from just 158 balls, hitting as many as 12 fours and 16 sixes, to give the Bangalore crowd a lot to celebrate on Diwali day.

Only Watson, who walked off with injury recorded respectable figures, bowling five overs for 26 runs. McKay took one for 89 in 10 overs, Coulter-Nile was hit for 80 in 10 overs and Faulkner was slammed one for 75 in 10 overs as Australia's bowlers suffered big time in the latter half of the match.

Rohit slams McKay over the cover region for a six to bring up his double century in grand style, from 156 balls. This was his 15th six of the innings.

He slams the next ball over midwicket for his 16th six to break Shane Watson's record for most six in an innings in an ODI.

Rohit finally perishes as he holes out to the fielder at deep square leg. He walks back after a magnificent innings of 209 from 153 balls, hitting 12 fours and 16 sixes to leave the Australian bowlers stunned.

His partnership of 167 runs from 94 balls for the fifth wicket with Dhoni turned around things completely in the last few overs.

Dhoni smashes the next ball powerfully down the ground and the bowler and the umpire are lucky that it didn't hit them.

The next ball is short as Dhoni pulls it on the leg side for another boundary.

He hits the last ball to deep midwicket and is run out as he attempts the second run. The Indian captain walks back after scoring a quickfire 61 from 37 balls, laced with seven fours and two sixes.

India's batsmen have hammered 77 runs from the last four overs to turnaround the match on it's head.

Rohit then sweeps it over square leg for a boundary before coming down and lofting the last ball over long-on for the third six of the over.

Rohit has hit 13 sixes in total to race to 183 from 149 balls also including 11 boundaries.

Doherty's figures are spoiled by the huge over giving away 26 runs in his final over to finish with two for 74 in two overs.

Two balls later he picks it over the leg side for his 10th six of the innings as India get another big over, hitting McKay for 16 runs.

Dhoni initially calls him but sends him back as Rohit has come a long way down but fortunately he has covered the throw and it hits him on the back.

Dhoni gets the last ball in the gap on the leg side for a single.

Dhoni takes a single from the first ball of Faulkner's sixth over to bring Rohit on strike.

Rohit plays two dot balls with the fielders called into the circle on the off-side. He lofts the fourth ball over the off-side and gets two runs to complete his century, from 114 balls. This is Rohit's second century of the series.

India will need him to push on and carry on batting till the final over.

Another good over from Faulkner as India have struggled to get going in the Powerplay. They have scored just eight runs from three overs of Powerplay.

Yuvraj then drives at a wide delivery but gets an edge which is brilliantly taken by wicketkeeper Haddin, diving full length to his left and taking it in mid air. That was a sensational catch!

Yuvraj has failed again with the bat, caught behind for 12. His scores in the series read: 7, 0, 0 an 12 for a tally of 19 runs in four innings.

Coulter-Nile peepers Yuvraj with short balls directed at his body. He ducks the first ball before pulling the second to deep midwicket for two runs.

He sways out of the line of the third which is quicker before deciding to pull the next but gets a top edge and it carries all the way over square leg for a six. The fifth ball is again short but it doesn't rise and he mistimes the pull on the leg side for one.

Rohit plays the late cut off the last ball playing it fine past the keeper for a boundary through the thirdman region to take India past 200.

13 runs from the over as India reach 203 for three in 33 overs. Rohit is closing in on his century, scoring 92 from 97 balls with the help of four fours and six sixes, while Yuvraj is on 11.

However, he falls off the next delivery as he is trapped leg before wicket by Doherty, after a brisk 28 from 30 balls. He put on 72 runs from 9.4 overs for the third wicket to help India get back the momentum after a couple of quick wickets.

Yuvraj Singh, who has struggled for runs in the series, plays out the last three balls of that over.

Watson is suffering from some injury as he withdraws from his bowling duties with some obvious discomfort.

Watson's withdrawal means Maxwell has to come back. Rohit needs no second invitation as he decides to target his Mumbai Indians team mate. After two dot balls he comes down the track and heaves Maxwell over long-on for a six. He repeats the dose off the next ball for another maximum over midwicket to take his score to 85 from 87 balls.

McKay is back after just two overs from Maxwell. Rohit cuts the second ball to thirdman for one to bring new batsman and the in-form Virat Kohli on strike.

He blocks the first three balls before he falls run out from the fifth ball. Kohli tapped the ball to mid-on and set off for the run but Rohit after responding to the call initially sends back his partner. But Kohli is more than halfway down the track and is unable to make his ground to be run out for a three-ball duck and leave the Bangalore crowd stunned.

Remember, Kohli, who is also the RCB captain is a crowd favourite in Bangalore.

India lose two wickets in six balls to be reduced to 113 for two in 20 overs.

Clint McKay to bowl the first over as Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan get ready to open the innings.

The first ball is wide and full as Rohit flays his bat at it but gets a single to thirdman.

McKay getting some swing but this time it is a wide down the leg side to left-hander Dhawan.

The next ball is on the slot as Dhawan crashes it through the covers but gets only two runs with a fielder on the boundary at sweeper cover. That is a smart move by the Aussies!

Dhawan plays out the remaining three deliveries as four runs come from the first over.

Australia captain George Bailey won the toss and as expected had no hesitation in electing to bowl against India in the seventh and final One-Day International, in Bangalore, on Saturday.

The match will decide the outcome of the series, which is locked at 2-2, after two games were washed out.

India made one change bringing in pacer and local lad R Vinay Kumar in place of leg spinner Amit Mishra.

Australia were also forced to make one change after Mitchell Johnson had to return home to prepare for the Ashes. His place was taken by fellow pacer Nathan-Coulter Nile.
