India 157-2 (34 overs) vs WI 182

All roads lead to the Wankhede stadium. It's a public holiday here and everyone is headed to the centre of action to watch their favourite Sachin Tendulkar in action and they want him to score a century in his farewell match.

This could perhaps be Tendulkar's last innings in cricket given the way how West Indies have batted in this series. India will look to post a big score in the first innings and try to inflict another innings defeat on the visitors after their crushing win in Kolkata.

Tendulkar will resume on his overnight score of 38 from 73 balls, having hit six fours. His footwork has been very confident and positive on Day 1, leaving all his fans thrilled.

Pujara also looked solid during his knock of 34 from 49 balls, but went unnoticed as the day was only about one man.

The duo put on an unbroken stand of 80 runs in 122 balls to help India consolidate their dominant position in the match.

Except for the two wickets in an over by Shillingford, it was a poor performance by West Indies, who crashed out for a lowly 182.

In reply, India reached 157 for two in 34 overs scoring at 4.61 runs per over, and now trail the visitors by only 25 runs with four more days to go.

Pragyan Ojha was the star performer for India on Day 1 as he registered excellent figures of five for 40.
