SUPER OVER: KKR 11-2 (1 ov) vs Rajasthan

Surya Kumar Yadav and Shakib Al Hasan walk out to bat for KKR in the Super Over, while Faulkner, who took three wickets in the 19th over, will take over the bowling for Royals.

Surya tries to flick the first ball which is brilliantly saved by a diving Samson and there is a run out as the batsmen try to steal a second run but are caught short. 1-1 (0.1)

Manish Pandey walks in and he is the last batsman for KKR in the Super Over. Pandey taps the second ball on the leg side for a single. 2-1 (0.2)

A full delivery is struck back at the bowler by Shakib which hits Faulkner on the shoes for just a single on the off-side. 3-1 (0.3)

Pandey then takes a couple of steps down the pitch and hits a slower ball into the stands over long-on for a six. 9-1 (0.4)

A yorker is kept out as Faulkner gets a single on the leg side. 10-1 (0.5)

Shakib is run out from the last ball as KKR finish on 11 runs in the Super Over.

Richardson then bowls a leg side wide to Narine, who gets a single from the next delivery. 5 needed from 3 balls.

Shakib then walks across his stumps and looks to paddle it fine but misses and KKR batsmen are unhappy that the umpire didn't call it a wide.

Shakib chips the next ball over the off-side for two runs, which means they need three from the last ball for victory.

He drives the last ball to long-off and they pick up two runs as the match ends in a tie.

Faulkner comes back and Yadav goes for a big hit off the first ball but is caught by Smith at long-off after a good innings of 31 from 19 balls that brought KKR back into the contest.

Shakib pulls the next ball fine on the leg side but fails to make proper connection for two runs. Shakib then makes room as Faulkner tries a slower ball but misses his length to give away a leg side. 13 needed from 10 balls.

Shakib takes a single before Robin Uthappa is bowled for a first-ball duck going across his stumps to hit on the leg side but failed to make connection.

R Vinay Kumar is also dismissed for a first ball duck as he is foxed by a slower ball and is bowled.

Birthday boy Faulkner is on a hat-trick!!!

Piyush Chawla is lucky to survive the last ball as it beats him but passes over the stumps.

Three wickets and four runs in that over from Faulkner to leave KKR with 12 to get from the last over.

Kane Richardson comes back, he has two overs in hand. Yadav takes a single from the first ball before Shakib hits a boundary past short fine leg.

The next ball is sent crashing through midwicket for another four before he takes a single to deep midwicket two balls later.

Yadav tries to sweep the last ball but fails to connect and gets just one run.

KKR get 11 runs from the over and they now need 16 runs from the last two overs for victory.

Watson comes back, to bowl his third over. Shakib tries to paddle the first ball but hits it on to his helmet for one and Yadav is unable to make most of a free hit for a single on the off-side after Watson oversteps again.

Yadav then sweeps a full delivery from Watson over square leg for a six. He then edges the next ball which goes past the keeper for a four.

He takes a single from the last ball to retain strike as KKR get 15 runs from that over.

Tambe is brought back to bowl his fourth and final over. Yadav sweeps the first ball for two runs to deep square leg and two balls later hits an uppish sweep fine on the leg side for a four.

Yadav again sweeps the next ball for a single and Shakib does the same.

They get two runs from the last ball courtesy of an overthrow as Tambe goes for 10 in his final over to finish with excellent figures of two for 31 in four overs.

Abdullah comes back as Surya Kumar Yadav flicks it through midwicket for two runs and lofts the next over the covers for a four.

Shakib looks to play the sweep but is beaten before he takes one. Samson fumbles the last ball and Yadav picks a bye to get nine from the over.

KKR are 101 for four in 15 overs with 52 needed from 30 balls for victory.

Bhatia gets the key wicket of Gambhir in his final over to leave Kolkata in trouble.

Gambhir went for the slog sweep but skied a straightforward catch to the fielder at deep square leg after scoring 45 from 44 balls.

Shakib Al Hasan hits the first ball through point for a couple and gets the next wide of long-on for another couple.

KKR are 92 for four in 14 overs, needing 61 runs from six overs for victory.

Pandey drives Tambe on the off-side for one before Gambhir continues to struggle against the left-arm spinner.

He tries the paddle sweep but fails to connect and picks up a leg bye.

Pandey releases some pressure as he comes down the track to Tambe and lofts him over midwicket for the first six of the innings. He slams the next ball through the same region but this time along the ground for a four.

But Tambe gets his revenge as Pandey is trapped leg before wicket for 19 to reduce KKR to 85 for three in 13 overs.

Bhatia comes on to bowl his third over. He is doing a good job in the middle overs, keeping the runs down and drying up the boundaries to build up the pressure on KKR.

Captain Gambhir holds the key, he is batting on 36 from 32 balls, hitting four boundaries in total.

Veteran Pravin Tambe comes into the attack and he strikes in his very first over. Kallis goes for a big hit down the ground but mistimes it and is caught by Steven Smith running to his right from long-off.

Kallis struggled as he scored 13 from 17 balls and his dismissal leaves KKR in trouble at 49 for two in the ninth over.

Kallis plays a loose shot outside the off-stump against Watson but is beaten, he is struggling on five from 11 balls.

He then gets a thick inside edge and picks up two runs followed by a single.

Gambhir then is beaten as he tries to pull a quick short ball before he hits it to sweeper cover for a single.

The last ball is sliding down the leg side and Kallis helps it fine for a much-needed four.

Medium pacer Rajat Bhatia comes into the attack as Rajasthan hold back left-arm spinner Pravin Tambe.

Kallis slog sweeps the second ball which falls short of Kallis at deep midwicket for a couple. He tries to hit the next ball but is beaten by the change of pace before he takes one. Gambhir then lofts the fifth ball over the off-side for a couple but is beaten off the last ball and survives a close call for stumping.

Captain Shane Watson comes into the attack. Gambhir flicks the second ball to deep midwicket for a single.

Jacques Kallis walks after edging one to the keeper but he is stopped halfway into his way back as replays show that Watson has overstepped the front crease.

Not only does Kallis get a lifeline but KKR also get a free hit in the process, which Kallis slices to thirdman for one.

Three runs from the over as KKR reach 33 for one in six overs in the Powerplay. They need 120 runs from 14 overs for victory at an asking rate of 8.57.

Time for spin as Iqbal Abdulla comes into the attack to bowl the fifth over. Gambhir slaps the third delivery through the off-side for a couple before he sweeps the next behind square on the leg side for a boundary, his third of the innings, to take his score to 23 from 17 balls.

Gambhir survives a confident shout for LBW but Richardson strikes three balls later as Bisla steers it into the hands of Nair at first slip.

Bisla never got going and perished after scoring three from nine balls.

Stuart Binny to bowl the first over for Rajasthan and up against him will be Gautam Gambhir and his new partner Manvinder Bisla.

Gambhir heaves a sigh of relief as he steers the first ball to thirdman for a single and Bisla gets off the mark with a single on the off-side.

Gambhir pulls the fifth ball for three runs as seven runs come from the first over.

Vinay to bowl the last over. He starts with a wide yorker as Rahane taps it on the off-side for a single and does it again to Smith, who also takes one.

Rahane then tries to loft it down the ground but holes out to the fielder at long-off to be dismissed after a good innings of 72 from 59 balls, six fours and a six.

Smith then walks across his stumps and flicks it behind square on the leg side for a boundary before he takes one.

James Faulkner gets two from the last ball to finish on a healthy 152 for five in their 20 overs.

Rajasthan will be happy to finish in excess of 150 after they struggled in the early overs. Rahane played a good hand with the bat as he hit 72 from 59 balls and Watson chipped in with a quick 33 from 24 balls.

Vinay impressed with the ball as he stroked two for 30 in four overs, while Shakib claimed one for 23.

Smith comes down the track to Narine and clips him on the leg side for a couple. He makes room but gets an edge off the next delivery which goes past the wicketkeeper for a boundary.

He again gives Narine the charge and gets a thick inside edge and picks two more runs on the leg side.

Two more singles as Narine goes for 10 in that over to finish with 28 runs in his four overs.

Morkel comes back and he claims the wicket of Stuart Binny, who makes room and tries to hit over the off-side, but gets an edge and is caught behind for a first-ball duck.

Steven Smith gets off the mark with a couple on the leg side followed by three singles from the last three balls.

Rahane plays a cracking shot as he gives Narine the charge and slaps the first ball through the covers for a boundary.

He tries to reverse sweep the fourth ball but is beaten before he takes a couple to sweeper cover.

Rahane slaps Vinay through the off-side for a couple to bring up his fifty from 44 balls.

He then looks to flay Vinay through the off-side but is beaten by one that moves away slightly and is a bit quicker.

Rahane slogs the next ball over midwicket where Shakib misjudges a chance just inside the ropes and palms it over the boundary for a six.

But against the run of play, Rajasthan lose the wicket of Watson, who goes for a tight second run but is short caught of his crease.

Watson is run out for 33 from 24 balls as Rajasthan are reduced to 118 for three in 16 overs.

A slight hesitation by Watson after he completed the first run played a part and so did Manish Pandey's flat and accurate throw from sweeper cover.

Narine, who has three overs in hand, comes back. He continues to be tight with three singles from the first five balls. Watson spoils the over with a boundary from the last ball, smashing the last ball over the cover region to take his score to 32 from 23 balls.

Watson decides to target Chawla as he slog sweeps him over midwicket for a four. He then clubs the next ball powerfully down the ground past the bowler for a couple as the long-off fielder comes up with a good save.

The next ball is smashes through the covers for a boundary as Rajasthan look to lift the tempo.

Watson gets an inside edge off the last ball which narrowly misses his leg stump and goes for another four, the third of the over.

Rajasthan get 17 runs in that over to reach 99 for two in 14 overs with Watson on 27 from 19 balls and Rahane on 46 from 41 balls.

KKR have managed to keep things under control, conceding just 18 runs from the last four overs.

Mystery spinner Sunil Narine comes into the attack. He continues to build the pressure giving away just two singles as Rajasthan struggle on 25 for one in five overs.
20:23  This is the first time Yusuf Pathan has been dropped in his IPL career, after 95 matches. He has started all 52 matches in which he has turned out for KKR, while in 43 matches for Rajasthan Royals he never got the axe.

This year he scored just 18 runs in four matches before KKR lost patience with him.

A few nervy moments for Rajasthan. First Rahane and Samson have a slight misunderstanding with the latter needing to dive to make his crease after being sent down.

Rahane then edges the next ball which goes between the first slip and wicketkeeper for a boundary.

However, two balls later he stands tall and hits one off the middle for a boundary behind the point region for his third four.

Vinay has struck in his second over. Nair comes down the track and has a wild swing but misses it completely and is bowled by his Karnataka team mate after scoring just one.

New batsman Sanju Samson gets off the mark with a single from the fifth ball and Rahane takes one from the last ball to retain strike.

Just two runs and a wicket from Vinay as Royals are 15 for one in three overs.

The tall Morne Morkel to bowl the second over. Rahane flicks the first ball through the leg side for three runs before Morkel bowls a wide and then beats Nair.

Nair gets off the mark with a single on the leg side courtesy of an inside edge before Rahane plays out the rest of the over, which fetches six runs.

Ajinkya Rahane walks out to open the batting with new partner Karun Nair, while R Vinay Kumar will bowl the first over for KKR.

Rahane punches the first ball through the covers where the fielder half stops it to keep it down to two.

The next ball is full and on the off-stump but Rahane manages to flick it through midwicket for a boundary.

He takes a single from the fourth ball before Nair is beaten off the next, trying to play off the backfoot.

Iqbal Abdulla will make his debut for Royals as he replaces Abhishek Nayar, while left-arm pacer James Faulker takes the place of Tim Southee.

Kolkata finally lost patience with the struggling Yusuf Pathan as he made way for wicketkeeper Manvinder Bisla, while Shakib Al Hasan replaced Chris Lynn.
19:24  Confident Rajasthan take on Kolkata Knight Riders:   A confident Rajasthan Royals will look to continue their good form when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League, in Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday.

Rajasthan destroyed Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match bowling them out for a paltry 70 before chasing it down easily for a six-wicket victory.

On the other hand, Kolkata will look to bounce back after their 23-run defeat to table toppers Kings XI Punjab.
