Surya tries to flick the first ball which is brilliantly saved by a diving Samson and there is a run out as the batsmen try to steal a second run but are caught short. 1-1 (0.1)

Manish Pandey walks in and he is the last batsman for KKR in the Super Over. Pandey taps the second ball on the leg side for a single. 2-1 (0.2)

A full delivery is struck back at the bowler by Shakib which hits Faulkner on the shoes for just a single on the off-side. 3-1 (0.3)

Pandey then takes a couple of steps down the pitch and hits a slower ball into the stands over long-on for a six. 9-1 (0.4)

A yorker is kept out as Faulkner gets a single on the leg side. 10-1 (0.5)

Shakib is run out from the last ball as KKR finish on 11 runs in the Super Over.

He drives the last ball to long-off and they pick up two runs as the match ends in a tie.

Faulkner comes back and Yadav goes for a big hit off the first ball but is caught by Smith at long-off after a good innings of 31 from 19 balls that brought KKR back into the contest.

Shakib pulls the next ball fine on the leg side but fails to make proper connection for two runs. Shakib then makes room as Faulkner tries a slower ball but misses his length to give away a leg side. 13 needed from 10 balls.

Shakib takes a single before Robin Uthappa is bowled for a first-ball duck going across his stumps to hit on the leg side but failed to make connection.

R Vinay Kumar is also dismissed for a first ball duck as he is foxed by a slower ball and is bowled.

Birthday boy Faulkner is on a hat-trick!!!

Piyush Chawla is lucky to survive the last ball as it beats him but passes over the stumps.

Three wickets and four runs in that over from Faulkner to leave KKR with 12 to get from the last over.

They get two runs from the last ball courtesy of an overthrow as Tambe goes for 10 in his final over to finish with excellent figures of two for 31 in four overs.

KKR are 92 for four in 14 overs, needing 61 runs from six overs for victory.

But Tambe gets his revenge as Pandey is trapped leg before wicket for 19 to reduce KKR to 85 for three in 13 overs.

The last ball is sliding down the leg side and Kallis helps it fine for a much-needed four.

Kallis slog sweeps the second ball which falls short of Kallis at deep midwicket for a couple. He tries to hit the next ball but is beaten by the change of pace before he takes one. Gambhir then lofts the fifth ball over the off-side for a couple but is beaten off the last ball and survives a close call for stumping.

Captain Shane Watson comes into the attack. Gambhir flicks the second ball to deep midwicket for a single.

Jacques Kallis walks after edging one to the keeper but he is stopped halfway into his way back as replays show that Watson has overstepped the front crease.

Not only does Kallis get a lifeline but KKR also get a free hit in the process, which Kallis slices to thirdman for one.

Three runs from the over as KKR reach 33 for one in six overs in the Powerplay. They need 120 runs from 14 overs for victory at an asking rate of 8.57.

Gambhir heaves a sigh of relief as he steers the first ball to thirdman for a single and Bisla gets off the mark with a single on the off-side.

Gambhir pulls the fifth ball for three runs as seven runs come from the first over.

Smith then walks across his stumps and flicks it behind square on the leg side for a boundary before he takes one.

James Faulkner gets two from the last ball to finish on a healthy 152 for five in their 20 overs.

Rajasthan will be happy to finish in excess of 150 after they struggled in the early overs. Rahane played a good hand with the bat as he hit 72 from 59 balls and Watson chipped in with a quick 33 from 24 balls.

Vinay impressed with the ball as he stroked two for 30 in four overs, while Shakib claimed one for 23.

Smith comes down the track to Narine and clips him on the leg side for a couple. He makes room but gets an edge off the next delivery which goes past the wicketkeeper for a boundary.

Two more singles as Narine goes for 10 in that over to finish with 28 runs in his four overs.

Rahane slogs the next ball over midwicket where Shakib misjudges a chance just inside the ropes and palms it over the boundary for a six.

But against the run of play, Rajasthan lose the wicket of Watson, who goes for a tight second run but is short caught of his crease.

Watson is run out for 33 from 24 balls as Rajasthan are reduced to 118 for three in 16 overs.

A slight hesitation by Watson after he completed the first run played a part and so did Manish Pandey's flat and accurate throw from sweeper cover.

Watson gets an inside edge off the last ball which narrowly misses his leg stump and goes for another four, the third of the over.

Rajasthan get 17 runs in that over to reach 99 for two in 14 overs with Watson on 27 from 19 balls and Rahane on 46 from 41 balls.

This is the first time Yusuf Pathan has been dropped in his IPL career, after 95 matches. He has started all 52 matches in which he has turned out for KKR, while in 43 matches for Rajasthan Royals he never got the axe.

However, two balls later he stands tall and hits one off the middle for a boundary behind the point region for his third four.

Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Watson has won the toss and elected to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Iqbal Abdulla will make his debut for Royals as he replaces Abhishek Nayar, while left-arm pacer James Faulker takes the place of Tim Southee.

Kolkata finally lost patience with the struggling Yusuf Pathan as he made way for wicketkeeper Manvinder Bisla, while Shakib Al Hasan replaced Chris Lynn.

A confident Rajasthan Royals will look to continue their good form when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League, in Abu Dhabi, on Tuesday.

Rajasthan destroyed Royal Challengers Bangalore in their last match bowling them out for a paltry 70 before chasing it down easily for a six-wicket victory.

On the other hand, Kolkata will look to bounce back after their 23-run defeat to table toppers Kings XI Punjab.
