India 262-7 (88 ovs) & 457 vs Eng 496 | Scorecard

England are still interested but if India manage to bat out another 10 overs or so then they would be successful in saving the match.

Binny is looking settled out in the middle and has confidently moved to 32 with the help of three fours. India will need him to continue to bat sensibly and deny England any chances atleast in the next 10 overs.

Anderson is giving the Indian batsmen some trouble. This time Binny gets an edge but it falls short of the slip fielders and goes through for a four.

Plunkett comes in for Broad as England look for a wicket or two to force an unlikely victory but India's tail will not give in easily.

Bhuvneshwar steers the fifth ball on the bounce to first slip as India get two runs from that over.

Binny shuffles across and is struck on the pads trying for a flick but is saved by the inside edge. What an effort from Anderson to spring some life on this slow and low wicket.

Two balls later, Binny is again hit on the pads but the impact is quite high before the right-hander offers a straight bat to the next ball.

Plunkett slips one down the leg side and Bhuvneshwar flicks it fine on the leg side for a four as India inch their way to safety.

India are 262 for seven in 88 overs, with a lead of 223 runs and 50 overs remaining in the day.
