Mohammed Shami to start off proceedings after the lunch break as Root pulls a short ball on the leg side for one.

Matt Prior also gets a short ball which he pulls to deep midwicket for one before Root hits Shami for back to back fours, pulling them through square leg to get 10 runs from the over.

Ishant to bowl from the other end. He starts with a short wide delivery to Prior which he punches through the covers for a four to make it a hat-trick of boundaries.

India continue to bowl short deliveries to Root who pulls Ishant to deep square leg for a single as Prior wants a second but is sent back.

Another short ball to Prior who pulls it handsomely through midwicket to continue the flurry of boundaries after the lunch break.

England in a rush, scoring 20 runs from the first two overs after the lunch break to reach 193 for five in 78 overs, with 126 runs more needed for victory.
