A boundary off Woakes helps Rahane complete a well-deserved fifty, his third in tests. 

Pankaj Singh hits successive boundaries off Moeen Ali in the next over but the bowler responds in the third ball, rattling his stumps.

Just when things looked to have settled down a bit for India, they lose a wicket. Again!

Moeen Ali gets through the defence of Jadeja (15), who added 32 for the seventh wicket with Rahane. 

It it Moeen Ali's third wicket of the innings and 12th of the series.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the new man in. He survives just four balls, before becoming Moeen's fourth victim of the innings, caught by Anderson at gully.

Moeen Ali replaces Broad (13-6-22-0). He starts off with a maiden. But Jadeja helps himself to a coupleof boundaries in the latter's subsequent overs. 

Chris Woakes replaces Anderson (14-05-24-2) in the attack in the 56th over, the 14th of the day. He starts off with a beauty to Rahane.

Rahane and Jadeja are fighting it out for India now. Can they bat through the day?
