IPL Live! Sunrisers beat Delhi by 8 wkts

Naman Ojha smoked two sixes to hand Sunrisers Hyderabad a 8 wkt win over Delhi Daredevils. 

Needing 43 runs from 5 overs, Delhi managed to remove Aaron Finch, but Ojha took on Imran Tahir and Rahul Shukla to finish the game off for Sunrisers.

With two oves to go, Rahul Shulka comes into the attack. 

Shukla strikes for Delhi as he castles Aaron Finch for 4. Sunrisers need 18 runs off 10 balls.

Sunrisers Hyderabad need 43 runs from five overs as rain continue to play spoilsport here in Delhi.

Siddharth Kaul has struck for Delhi Daredevils as he removes Shikhar Dhawan for 6. 

Dhawan slashed at a wide one from Kaul, only to hit it straight to JP Duminy at point. 

Sunrisers were 17-1 after 2 overs. The visitors need 80 runs from 60 balls.

Rain delays means that Sunrisers Hyderbad have been set a revised target of 117 runs from 15 overs.

Rain has come back to play spoilsport just before the start of the chase. Sunrisers did a brilliant job in restricting Delhi Daredevils to 143-7.

Brilliant bowling performance from Sunrisers Hyderabad, meant that Delhi Daredevils could only muster 143-7 after being asked to bat first. 

Delhi were off to a poor start as they lost Quinton de Kock in the third over. Kevin Pietersen threatened for a brief while, before he was snapped by Amit Mishra.

Delhi failed to get any momentum with Dinesh Karthik top-scoring with 39.

Dale Steyn once again was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2-20 off his four overs.

Mosies Henriques strikes for Sunrisers Hyderbad as he removes two set batsmen Dinesh Karthik and Laxmi Shukla in the same over.

Henriques first had Karthik caught brilliantly at the boundary by Dale Steyn for 39, then had Shukla playing a lose shot and was caught at midwicket by David Warner for 21. 

Delhi were 132-5 after 17 overs.

Karn Sharma continues after the rain delay. 

Dinesh  Karthik smokes one against the spin towards deepwicket to get the innings going once again. 

Karthik then smashed a boundary towards deep midwicket. 

A brace to end the over as Delhi were 115-3 after 14 overs. Karthik is on 29, while Shukla is on 14.

Bad weather has stopped play here at Kotla. Sunsrisers have the slight edge here as they have managed to knock off top three for not too many runs. 

Kevin Pietersen threatened for a brief period, before he was snapped by Amit Mishra. 

Mayank Agarwal played a loose shot to give Mishra his second. 

Delhi were  103-3 after 13.1 overs.

Amit Mishra struck once again as he had Mayank Agarwal walking back for 25. 

Agarwal, looked to sweep the leggie was caught at midwicket by David Warner.

Delhi were 73-3 after 9 overs.

Skipper Kevin Pietersen is taking the charge as Delhi look to rebuild after Quinton de Kock's dismissal. 

Pietersen took on Karan Sharma and dispatched him over long off for his first six. 

He then cut Sharma through point for a boundary. 

Moises Henriques too came in for some rough treatment in his opening over. 

KP smoked a friendly half-volley from the Australian into the stands. 

But Amit Mishra ensured that KP's stay at the crease will be short one as he removed skipper for 35. 

KP stepped out looking to be aggressive against the leg-spinner, but couldn't get enough elevation and was caught at covers for 35.

Delhi were 60-2 after 7 overs.

Dale Steyn strikes the first blow for Sunrisers Hyderabad as he removes in-form Quinton de Kock for 7. 

De Kock played a loose shot and was caught in covers by KL Rahul. Delhi's opening woes continues here.

Kevin Pietersen has decided to open the proceedings here with Quinton de Kock for Delhi.

Dale Steyn as usual will open for Sunrisers. 

De Kock gets off the mark with a brace through square leg.

Delhi are mainly dealing in singles as boundaries are hard to comeby. 

At the end of 2 overs, Delhi were 10-0.

Delhi are struggling at the bottom of the table and would like to move on. Sunrisers, meanwhile would need to pull up their socks in terms of batting if they have to progress ahead in the tournament.
