Mumbai's victory was set up by the splendid performances from their three spinners -- Harbhajan, Ojha and Gopal, who claimed three wickets apiece.
Mike Hussey, brought back into the team, got Mumbai off to the perfect start after they had elected to bat. The veteran hit 56 from 39 balls as he put on 120 runs for the opening wicket with Simmons, who slammed 62 from 51 balls.
