Bumrah to bowl the 19th over as Mumbai's fielders look to be going through the motions.

Hussey picks a single from the first ball before the pacer bowls a wide as he sends down a high bouncer.

Raina finishes off in style as he smashes Bumrah through midwicket for a four to take Chennai to a convincing seven-wicket victory, with eight balls to spare.

Raina played a splendid innings of 54 not out from 32 balls, having hit four fours and two sixes, while Hussey hit 40 from 29 balls, inclusive of two fours and three sixes.

The two batsmen steadied Chennai after a few quick wickets as they added 89 runs from 55 balls for the fourth wicket to lift their team to victory.

Chennai will play Kings XI Punjab in the Qualifier 2 match to be played at the Wankhede stadium on May 30 with the winner of that game advancing to the IPL final, against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Eight runs from the over as CSK inch closer to victory with 14 runs needed from three overs for victory.

The Mumbai Indians fans have already started making their way out of the Brabourne stadium.

Medium pacer Pollard comes into the attack and it looks like even Mumbai Indians have given up hopes of winning this match.

He starts with two short balls but too high for Raina as both are given as wides. Pollard then tries one more bouncer but this one doesn't rise as high and Raina pulls it easily through midwicket for a four.

In the same over, he takes a single to bring up his fifty, from 30 balls.

10 runs from the Pollard over leave CSK with four runs to get from two overs for victory.

Hussey has cut loose after a slow start. He pulls a short ball from Ojha over square leg for a six before he hammers one over long-on for another maximum as Chennai take control of the match.

Raina then goes down on knee and slogs it over midwicket for the third six of the over.

Ojha has struggled with the ball today, giving away 20 runs in his third over for a total of 34 runs in three overs.

Chennai in control with 22 runs needed from four overs for victory.

Chennai avoid taking any risks in Harbhajan's last over, who gives away six runs to finish with good figures of two for 27 in four overs.

Hussey finally gets his first boundary as he steers the first ball from Bumrah past point before Raina pulls the last ball through midwicket for the same result as nine runs come from the over.

Raina playing quite sensibly as he plays Kumar perfectly in the gap three balls in a row to pick couple of runs each time. Hussey then flays the last ball over the cover region for a six to get 14 runs from the over.

Chennai are 132 for three in 15 overs, needing 42 from 30 balls for victory.

Raina gets into the act as he comes down the track and plays a delightful inside out chip shot that goes all the way for a six, which makes it 666 sixes in IPL 7 so far. Hussey is beaten off the last ball as Harbhajan bowls a beauty which goes the other way.

Raina then hits Ojha over the off-side and gets three runs as Dunk makes a good stop running to his right from long-off.

After 12 overs, Chennai are 103 for three, with 71 needed from eight overs for victory.

Anderson comes back for his second spell. He hits his New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum flush on the face with a quick bouncer as he tries to pull it.

Raina steers the last ball of that over past point for a boundary.

Chennai's batsmen having some problems against Harbhajan, who is bowling much slower today and giving it plenty of air. McCullum tries to play the reverse sweep but fails to connect as Mumbai's player appeal for a catch off the gloves but it is turned down and rightly so.

McCullum then chips down the track and hits a huge six over long-off to settle some nerves in the CSK camp.

McCullum is dropped at long-on as he hits Pragyan Ojha down the ground but substitute fielder Ben Dunk not only fails to take the catch but also spills it over the ropes to give away a six.

But Ojha gets his man off the very next delivery. McCullum chips down the track but is beaten and wicketkeeper Tare completes an easy stumping to dismiss the right-hander for 14 from 11 balls.

Chennai are 89 for three in 10 overs with Raina on nine and David Hussey on one. They need 85 runs from 10 overs for victory.

Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh comes into the attack. And he strikes in his very first over with the wicket of Smith, who tries for a big hit down the ground but holes out to Simmons at long-on after scoring 24 from 20 balls.

A few balls later du Plessis also joins him in the dressing room as he chips it straight into the hands of the fielder at long-off after a quickfire innings of 35 from 20 balls.

Harbhajan giving it plenty of air in the first over and both his wickets fell to the flighted delivery. Two wickets and four runs from Harbhajan's first over as CSK are reduced to 64 for two in seven overs.

Faf comes down the track to Anderson and chips him through mid-off as Rohit makes a good diving effort but fails to take the catch as it goes for a four.

He then top edges the pull shot but a confusion between Harbhajan and Rayudu allows the ball to safely as both withdraw from the catch at the last minute at deep square leg.

Du Plessis then smashes the fifth ball over midwicket for a six followed by a four from the last ball.

18 runs from the over takes CSK to 38 for no loss after four overs. Du Plessis has got off to a flier to hit 28 from 14 balls, while Smith is a bit sedate on eight from 10 balls.

Jasprit Bumrah comes into the attack in place of Anderson, who was hit for 28 runs in two overs.

Smith edges the second ball which moves away and it goes past the keeper for a four. But the next ball is short which Smith pulls through midwicket for another four.

He then cuts the fourth ball over point and drives the last through the same region to make it four boundaries from the over.

Chennai in control as they race to 60 for no loss in six overs with Faf on 34 from 18 balls and Smith on 24 from the same number of deliveries.

Praveen Kumar opens the bowling for Mumbai Indians and he is up against Chennai's opening duo of Dwayne Smith and Faf du Plessies.

Smith is beaten off the first ball but he smashes the next ball through midwicket for a four as six runs come from the first over.

Corey Anderson to bowl the second over. Faf smashes the first ball through the off-side for a four and then pulls the fifth through square leg for another four as 10 come from the second over.

Smith then survives a very close shout for LBW against Kumar as he is struck on the backfoot right in front of the stumps after he is beaten by the incoming delivery. Chennai are 20 for no loss in three overs.

The wickets continue to tumble and this time Ambati Rayudu (2) is dismissed caught in the covers as he tries to go over the top against Mohit.

Praveen Kumar gets off the mark with a single to long-off and Harbhajan Singh taps a slower ball on the off-side for one.

Kumar then has a wild swing but fails to connect and is bowled for one.

Harbhajan lofts the last ball over long-on for a six as Mumbai finish on a healthy 173 for eight in their 20 overs.

Mumbai lost their way after the dismissal of Simmons for 67 as six wickets fell for 23 runs in the space of 18 balls.

Nehra to bowl the 19th over. He starts with a full toss to Pollard, who smashes it over midwicket for a six and two balls later pulls it through the same region for a four.

However, Nehra gets revenge as Pollard goes for another big shot but is caught at deep square leg for 14.

Aditya Tare goes from hero to zero as he is caught in the covers for a first-ball duck.

Mumbai have lost their way in the last few overs to be reduced to 164 for six in 19 overs.

A good outing with the ball for Nehra, who finishes with two for 32 in four overs.

Jadeja strikes with the big wicket of Simmons, who is caught at long-on, after playing a splendid innings of 67 from 44 balls, having hit five fours and four sixes.

Jadeja gives away just five runs in his last over to finish with good figures of two for 31 in four overs.

Mohit continues Chennai's revival with the wicket of MI captain Rohit Sharma, who gets a top edge and is caught on the off-side for 20.

Rohit had slammed Mohit over the off-side for a four but the pacer got revenge from the next ball with a short delivery that bounced a bit more than expected.

Mohit then tests Pollard with a bouncer who pulls it to deep square leg for one and Ambati Rayudu takes one on the off-side to get off the mark as McCullum makes a good diving stop at point.

Mumbai are 153 for four in 18 overs, losing two wickets for 13 runs in the last two overs.

Simmons continues his attacking approach as he lofts Jadeja straight down the ground over long-off for his third six. 10 runs from the over as Mumbai reach 127 for two in 15 overs.

Veteran pacer Nehra comes back as Chennai look for a wicket or two to check Mumbai's charge.

Mumbai on a roll at the moment as Rohit skips down the track and crashes Nehra over the off-side for a boundary.

Simmons does the same off the last ball but he hits it down the ground over long-on for a six.

Mumbai look set for a big score as they reach 140 for two in 16 overs.

Simmons continues his good form to hit 66 from 42 balls, while Rohit has made 13 from 11 balls.

Ashwin to bowl out here as he comes on to bowl his fourth over on the trot. He gets the key wicket of Anderson with the first ball who tries another slog sweep but this time he miscues it on the leg side. Pandey does well to judge a high catch which swirls in the air to send back Anderson for 20 from 10 balls.

Mumbai continue to attack as Simmons slams Ashwin over long-on for a six to take Mumbai past the 100-run mark.

Ashwin concedes nine runs in his final over to finish with one for 26 in four overs.

Pandey comes back and he beats Simmons from the first two deliveries outside the off-stump as the right-hander tries to flay it through the off-side. He then shuffles across his stumps and pulls it fine on the leg side for a four to complete his half-century, from 36 balls.

Rohit Sharma edges the last ball which goes for a boundary fine on the off-side to get him off the mark as Mumbai reach 117 for two in 14 overs.

Ashwin continues and he does a good job, giving away just four runs in his third over.

Jadeja is taken off that wicket-taking over and he makes way for part-timer Suresh Raina.

Anderson looks keen to attack the bowlers as he sweeps Raina for another six over square leg. He then reverse sweeps the next ball for a boundary through the point region followed by a single to race to 20 from nine balls.

Mumbai looking comfortable on 99 for one in 12 overs with Simmons on 38 from 30 balls.

Ravindra Jadeja comes into the attack and he makes a tidy start, giving away just six singles in his first over.

Hussey picks Ashwin over midwicket for his first six as Ashwin goes for nine runs in his second over.

Jadeja makes the first breakthrough with the wicket of Hussey, who attempts the sweep but misses and is bowled after a good innings of 39 from 33 balls.

Corey Anderson, who played that magical innings in the last match, starts off with a six over square leg to take Mumbai to 82 for one in 10 overs.

Hussey tries to heave Mohit on the leg side but gets a thick outside edge  which carries over short thirdman fielder for a four.

Simmons then chips down the track and smashes the pacer over the off-side for another boundary. He then rocks back and pulls a short ball over midwicket for the first six of the match.

Mohit then tries the slower ball but Simmons wait an extra second before despatching it through the covers for a boundary to help Mumbai race past the 50-run mark.

19 runs from the over as Mumbai reach 53 for no loss in six overs with Simmons on 28 from 16 balls and Hussey on 23 from 20 balls.

Chennai introduce spin as R Ashwin comes into the attack. Hussey drives the third ball through the covers for three runs as Mohit makes a diving stop on the boundary. Ashwin concedes four runs in his first over as Mumbai reach 57 for no loss in seven overs.

Change of ends for Pandey, who comes on from the pavilion end, but no change of tactics from Hussey as the veteran smashes it back over the bowler for a four. The next ball is flicked through midwicket for another boundary as Mumbai look to break free after a steady start.

Two singles from the first two balls before Simmons clips it square on the leg side for a four to get six runs from the first over.

Ishwar Pandey to bowl the second over. Simmons gets another four as he stands tall and punches a short ball through the covers in some style.

Mumbai are 13 for no loss in two overs with Simmons on 10 and Hussey on two.
20:02   Kolkata enter final, Chennai elect to bowl vs Mumbai
Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bowl against Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator match of the IPL, at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai, on Wednesday.

Mumbai made one change to their team with pacer Praveen Kumar replacing leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal.

Chennai also made a change with Brendon McCullum replacing leg-spinner Samuel Badree.

The winner of this match will play Kings XI Punjab in the Qualifier 2 match on Friday. The winner of the Qualifier 2 match will advance to the IPL final, where they will take on Kolkata Knight Riders, in Bangalore, June 1.

A boundary by Bailey, off Narine, helps Punjab get past the 100-run mark, in the 17th over. It has come in too late in the day. 

The Punjab captain also has a maximum in the over. However, Dhawan (14) is out stumped in Shakib's (4-0-43-1) final over. 

Mitchell Johnson is the new batsman. He begins with a huge six over wide long-on. Bailey ends the over with another huge six.

Meanwhile, Chennai have won the toss and invited Mumbai to bat in the second play-off. 

Punjab need 30 off the final over. Yadav to bowl. Bailey (26) is caught at long-on by Pandey.

Kolkata win by 28 runs to reach the final for the second time in three years.

Miller (on 1) is fortunate again as Pandey puts him down off Yadav. Punjab 68 for three at the halfway stage.

Morkel ends his spell (4-0-23-2) with a wicket, having Saha (35) caught by Yadav at mid-off.

Sunil Narine is intoduced into the attack in the fourth over. He gives away seven runs including a boundary to Saha.

Manan Vohra (26) begins with successive sixes off Shakib, followed by another off Morkel. However, Morkel eventually has him caught by Umesh Yadav at mid-on. 

Glenn Maxwell is the new man in. Narine is back to bowl the seventh. Maxwell gets a boundary off the third ball, the shot heloing Punjab get past the 50-run mark.

Morne Morkel to start the proceedings for Kolkata and it will be Virender Sehwag and Manan Vohra first up for Punjab. Just four runs come off the first over. 

Umesh Yadav to bow, the second over. He strikes with his first ball, having Sehwag (2) caught by Shakib at cover. 

Wridhiman Saha is the new man in. He starts off with a six off Morkel.

Yadav gets carried away is cleaned up Karanveer, who ends with figures of three for 40. Yadav's 14-ball 20 was inclusive of three boundaries and a six and he helped Doeschate add 37 runs (off just 21 balls) for the sixth wicket.

Johnson has Doeschate (17) caught by Manan Vohra in the deep in the 19th over. Piyush Chawla is the new man in. 

Excellent final over from Johnson (4-0-31-2), just three runs from it. Awana to bowl the final over. A boundary off the first ball by Chawla helps Kolkata get past the 150-run mark. 

Chawla (16) gets two more boundaries even as Sunil Narine (0) is run out. 

Kolkata manage 163 for eight.

Play has started and the good news is there has been no reduction to the overs. Patel ends with impressive figures (4-1-11-2). 

Dhawan's final over is an expensive one, 14 runs coming off it, Yadav hitting a six over deep square leg followed by a boundary.

Doeschate hits successive sixes off Karanveer Singh in the next over. 

Meanwhile, the squad for the five-match Test series against England has been announced. Gautam Gambhir makes a comeback.

In the next over though, Karanveer Singh has Shakib (18) caught by Miller at long-off. In the very next ball, Yusuf (20) does an encore. Same bowler and same fielder.

Suryakumar Yadav survives the hat-trick ball.

Akshar Patel strikes twice in his third over. He first has Uthappa (42) caught by David Miller at long-off. 

Uthappa's 30-ball knock was inclusive of four boundaries and two sixes and he helped Pandey add 65 runs for the second wicket, off just seven overs.

Three balls later, Pandey (21) sees his leg stumps knocked off. 

Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan are the two new batsmen at the crease.

Johnson's second over is an expensive one, Pandey finding the fence and Uthappa clearing it and following it up with another boundary. 

Awana is back to bowl the fifth over. It's and expensive one as well, 11 runs coming off it, with Uthappa finding the fence twice.

Rishi Dhawan replaces Johnson (2-0-20-1) in the sixth over and Uthappa welcomes him with a straight six. Super hit this, from a man in peak form. A boundary, in the same over, by Pandey helps Kolkata get past the 50-run mark and also the 50-run partnership for the second wicket.

Parwinder Awana to open the bowling for Punjab and it will be Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa first up for Kolkata. Just two runs come off the first over. 

Mitchell Johnson to bowl the second over. Gambhir (1) survives a leg before appeal first ball. However, he perishes next ball, caught by Punjab counterpart George Bailey at mid-on.

Kings XI Punjab have won the toss and elected to bowl in the IPL Qualifier 1 play-off match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. 

The match was postponed to Wednesday following torrential rain over the last two days.
