Half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina, who both hit 62 each,  helped India post a competitive 263-7 on a pitch that is not exactly easy for batting.

It was a good comeback from Kohli, who has struggled with the bat in the last few months as he came good in front of his home fans.

Raina, looked more assured at the crease, and was dominant of the two and played his trademark attacking game to help India seize the momentum in the middle overs as he put on 105 runs for the fourth wicket with Kohli.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni played his usual role, but the Windies didn't allow the Indian skipper to go berserk in the final overs.

Dhoni brought up his half-century with a boundary in the final over bowled by Taylor, whowas the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-54.
