Dwyane Smith stroked his way to a 57-ball half-century to lead West Indies in their run chases.

Smith started slowly before he picked up pace, punishing even the good deliveries from Indian bowlers.

The opener reached the landmark with a single off Amit Mishra with six boundaries.

Smith forged a good opening partnership with Darren Bravo, to give the visitors strong start in the chase.

After 21 overs, West Indies were 92-1 with Smith on 50 and Pollard on 16.
